Dak is a top 10 QB and a total team leader. The clubhouse gets behind him and wants to play for him. At the rate of how QB's last now in the NFL, well into their late 30's... I'd say he has 10 more really good years left. That's amazing for us.

The denial stage is strong with yo right now, as with a few others here.

At least you're on the path to acceptance. That commendable at least.
Do you expect anyone to give any credence to your bipolar posts? Please save the unsolicited advice.

He is a franchise QB. 1st time I've said this.

He is not an elite QB. He is not worth his pay. Doubtful he could ever take this team to a SB.

But isn't the definition of franchise QB that you can build around the player AND have reasonable belief you could win a SB?

Otherwise, don't you just have a QB that you are looking to replace?

sorry this is not just a reaction to this game i have said it from a long time ago and i think my reason is correct so please respond to my reason and not just the title.

i believe a franchise qb have to be able to elevate the play of every one around him and dak does not do that at all. he is 100% relyant on every thing around him being perfect and all of the odd stacked in his favor.

here is the newsflash and scary thing. it will not get any better. it will get worse and harder now that dak will eat a huge chunk of cap. dak will have to be the one to do the heavy lifting and he have shown ZERO ability to do that.

that is my point and worry with dak....am i wrong? a franchise qb HAVE to be able to elevate every one around him and dak is the opposite.
Knee jerk ignorant post.

Dude I better not ever see another Dak is MVP post ever again from those folks. Like I work 2 jobs while earning my master, and watching Cowboys football is what I look forward to the most on my weekend, and I get this ****! Like this is the thank I get for being a good person. It not like I'm one of those older Cowboys fans that got to witness a dynasty either. I don't even know if being a Cowboys fan is any different from being a Bears fan? Hell the Bears with Trubisky been to the playoff more times than us with Dak.

If working 2 jobs and trying to earn a masters makes someone a good person I better quit donating all my free time to charitable causes and get with the program.

No it is not. There are too few of those elite type QB's. Not everyone can have them so what happens is the 2nd and 3rd tier QB's have become franchise guys out of fear of losing them and being stuck with guys who are much much worse.

You're not coping well with the realization that smacked you in the face yesterday.

I've been there. It sucks. You'll open your eyes eventually.
Stop responding to me unless it's topic related. You're doing nothing but trolling and looking foolish.

It was a bad game by Dak and the whole offense, for sure.

Fwiw....Lots of drops too--reminded me of the 2007 Giants playoff game in that regard--but the QB was clearly off

But for perspective, Dallas has not had a loss where the QB contributed zero TDs (rushing or passing) and had that many turnovers (3) in nearly 4 years.
We had a string of stinkers in 2017

In other words, it was pretty rare.

I feel very sure he and the offense will rebound in a big way.

Yeah 5 sacks and 4 drops will help any QB be elite.
Yeah and it doesn't help when a receiver is wide open and the ball sails over their head or better yet the TE or back who flares out and waits for a pass that is thrown so poorly that it almost hits the ground and had the pass been thrown better it wouldn't have given the defense time to adjust and make a pounding tackle on an almost defenseless receiver who was trying their best to pull one of Dak's many poorly thrown balls.

Here we go again with another bogus reach thread.

Here we go again with another panic/reach thread. Ok, answer this question for me.... name me one franchise quarterback in NFL history that has had success without a supporting cast or pieces around him.

Dak has put up numbers in his first 5 years that only four other qbs in NFL HISTORY have put up. If Dak isn't a franchise qb, why haven't more qbs throughout NFL history put up those record numbers like Dak and four other qbs???

I'll wait...
