Who was going to trade a good QB? You wanted to give up a first round pick for Stafford? Lol We would have ended up with someone’s backup as our starter.

We could have gotten Rodgers if we tried.

We could have gotten Rodgers if we tried.

Rodgers is pushing 40 and there’s been many reports that he and McCarthy didn’t get along. Rodgers is far from perfect and it’s going to take perfect to please the fans on this board. He’s had his issues in big games the last few years. The Cowboys issues aren’t at QB.

Dak played "hard ball" during his contract negotiation process with the Cowboys.; He turned down $30 mil, then he turned down $33 mil, then he turned down $35 mil, then he turned down $38 mil.; Dak wanted $40mil to play QB for America's Team and he got what he wanted. Now it's time to PUT UP or SHUT UP., plain and simple. It doesn't matter what issues the O-Line is having, it doesn't matter if your #1 & #2 WR's are not available and it doesn't matter if your bell cow running back has lost his burst, THERE ARE NO EXCUSES when you're paid ELITE QB money.

Dak wasn't great today, but he wasn't the main reason why they lost.
This has been the excuse for our top talent for many years. Our best players not being the main reason the team lost isn’t good enough.

Raiders are a mediocre team, battling injuries. They didnt play well. They were penalty prone (like us!). The type of team that should have been put away by the 3rd quarter. Instead we ended up chasing their lead all day.

Dak can throw some amazing deep passes. When Lamb & Coop are back we'll see that.

But, the elite receiving of Lamb and Coop cover up a deficiency in Dak. And that is, when under pressure, Dak throws passes that only an elite receiver can catch.

But, as I said, when Lamb and Coop are back, that deficiency will be covered up, and we'll be back to thinking we have a shot at the SB.

A Tom Brady would have made those throws that could have been caught, that would have allowed us to at least kick for 3 in OT.

Dak is not (yet) an elite QB. I don't have crystal ball to tell anyone if Dak will ever be an elite QB. Wouldn't it be nice if Dak could play well under pressure.

Obviously, the Raiders needed to win that game more than the Cowboys "needed" to win that game. And the Raiders played like it.
