They announced last night that Tom Brady has more TD passes since age 40 than Hall of Famers such as Roger Staubach and Sid Luckman.

Yeah, I know the game has changed from a run first/run most league, but Holy Cow!

Also, thank God the Midgets got Garrett. This guy can't game plan a smurf team. And I'm glad they
keep hanging on to Daniel Jones, the Ryan Leaf of 2021.

When you think about the number of Top 10-20 QBs of all time not drafted in the 1st round, you realize it's not <just> about the measurables. 3 of the top 4 (by yards) are:
  • Brady (6th round)
  • Brees (2nd Round)
  • Favre (2nd Round)

Did they also announce that he is playing in the most pass happy era in the history of football? Or that he has thrown more passes in that span than those guys threw in their careers? Why do they insist on digging up these stupid stats and cleverly omitting the context in which they are compiled.

Brady is something else, but yeah, hard comparing different eras. Totally different game really.

The game may have changed, but Tom Brady would still be the GOAT just based on what he’s done since turning 37:

5 Super Bowl appearances

4 Super Bowl wins

3 Super Bowl MVPs

Amazing Stat.

If you throw FIVE TDs in the NFL past age 40 you're special. Can't minimize this.

BTW as soon as I praise the midgets for having Garrett, they fire him.

Don't care about no Tom Brady unless Micah is throwing him down then beating his chest.

Remember Brady is playing into his 40s because its a penalty if you even breathe on him...poor Micah would probably get penalized for even being in the vicinity of the GOAT. Thats the biggest difference between this era and Staubachs era.

There are differences. Yet Brady is the only QB to do it since George Blanda. And he's still the best in the league.
