I guess they had to blame somebody not the lack of talent

Saquon played in about all of 2018 and 2019 and very little of 2020 and 2021.

It is pretty simple

And Garrett never used him when he DID have him.

It is pretty simple. Garrett sucks.

Yes and have said I have no issue with him being fired, I don't think Garrett is the reason for NY failure since they were failures before he got there and I suspect things are not going to change until NY does a better job of bringing talent to that team.

I don’t need to divert away from the topic at hand. Jason Garrett isn’t good.

I have no issue with the Garrett sucks but Garrett never had him full strength except for 1 game last year. This year they were easing him in before he got hurt again! Garrett not using him is not remotely true.

That game in the Meadowlands just got tougher. Congratulations, the Jones family have a new FO member for '22.

Take a look at his Carrie’s under Garrett. Let me know how many games he had over 15.

Topic at hand was he was fired. I have never said they should not have fired him but looking at NY their problems are well beyond Garrett. Until they get some legit talent on that team it will not matter who the OC is.

This is not good. He will be back. Not in a coach capacity, but ,something I am afraid. Please, no.

So Jason, how is life when you are not the top of the totem pole and can't blame others for your failures?

Oh, was that a door hitting you in the backside?

Please be banished from any significant football role. If I never have to see, hear or think about this toad again, I would consider it a blessing.

And I’ve heard ‘talent’ blamed for Garrett’s failings for a decade. Every player suddenly ‘sucks’ when they work under Jason Garrett. A never-ending cycle.

Take a look at his Carrie’s under Garrett. Let me know how many games he had over 15.

He had 28 targets in a little over 1 game last year - 19 rushes and 9 pass targets
This year he is at around 14-15 a game - rushing and passing in the 6 games he has played. That is coming back from an ACL and then another sprained ankle.. not sure what you would expect his touches to be, 40 a game coming off injury.

In comparison Zeke is around 18 touches a game and he has been fairly healthy all year.. so maybe the 3 or 4 touches a game means Garrett wasn't using him.. but it seems about right for someone coming back from an ACL and then a nasty looking sprain.
