yeah, no way any team in the NFL can win without anything but number 1's on their line. o_O

He's had 4 no 1 picks(Collins would have gone in the 1st round) and one 2nd rounder.
End result.....1 playoff win!
What else can we get for Sir Dak?
Anyone?
Does anyone have a clue on this one????

nah I hear ya..but we don't have a viable back up.Thats all I am sayin. We never addressed that right.Teams that do, have sucess.
not every team in the NFL has a perfect offensive line so their shaky easily confused QB can be elite.

Dak is continuing to heal. Having a foot broken off your leg is no small thing.

We should get some impact players back from injury during the stretch run of the season.

Start 20? Is that a controversial thought? Then bring the big guy (Zeke)to close it out on a tired defensive group that has been chasing our fast guys?

I know nothing about football, but know a little, just enough, to be annoying. Lol.

It seems that the only real bad outings come with Tyron out. Moore not smart enough to roll him out and Dak has quit running with the ball. Something has to change or Tyron has to stay healthy. If we make the playoffs or even worse and make the SB and Tyron is out we will play another broncos or chiefs game. I think if Tyron played we may have beaten the chiefs.

maybe run two offensive linemen in the hulk formation so he doesn't get scared? and maybe take the tight ends out and put one or two in as eligible receivers. and maybe at the least one as a wide receiver?

maybe just dak surround by nothing but offensive linemen? would that help shakey?

Dak isnt elite, but he us far from easily confused. No QB functions well when he gets heavy pressure. Even Brady and Mahomes. Dak needs more than 2 seconds to read the defense .

So are we back to saying "Garrett just needs an all-pro in every linemen to win ? " .. replace "garrett" with "boy wonder" ...

great points. We need to be running the ball when we are without TS.

I think they especially stack the line when he is out. Or it seems that way. Lol.

I agree 100%. We need the run game more than ever when he is out. But we always seem to be heavy pass. As soon as the run gets stuffed more than once or we get down by a FG then the run gets abandoned..

In large part I think the Oline as a unit has overachieved their potential especially in the first six or seven games. What we see now is more accurate given their pedigree.

I know Tyron being out hurts the unit more than any other lineman so there is that. I think the lack of running game the past several weeks has shown we've got issues there.

If putting pressure on the QB is not important then why do teams pay DE's 20 million a year.

Pressure causes bad and errant throws. That is a fact. When the offensive line plays a good game Dak usually plays a good game also. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive, but they do correlate. Any one saying this is not true, are just being blinded by their own irrational train of thought.

Dak has been off in two games this year. If this team fails to put up 20 points it's probably because Dak was off. The QB position is the one position all teams rely on to turn drives into points, for the most part. If you do the math to put things in perspective, Dak has been off in two of our ten games. So his play has been 80% positive and 20% negative.
Dak, like any QB needs decent blocking to be effective.

27 pressures( KC game) IS NOT DECENT BLOCKING! Duh

I disagree.
The O line was atrocious vs KC and Denver, but overall it has played pretty good.

I think this O line has the potential, by the end of the season, to be very good. Again, McCovern, Biadaz, and Collins need more playing time to get comfortable together and to just improve their technique.

Backup? LT

Everyone on the line sucked vs KC.

I think they will improve as the season progresses. Hopefully, Steele can be serviceable, with more practice, if Tyron goes down again.

The offline you're looking for does not exist on Planet Earth.
Sorry, but Prescott being Elite:rolleyes: needs to get the job done like every other QB in the NFL.....in other words producing with pressure!!!!

This O-line has protected the QB much better than they did in KC...most o-lines dont give up Historic level pressure every week...you name the QB Ill pull the last game they had with huge pressure and show you how it went....
