Daks had better teams than romo easily.

This was a team loss. Offense had their chances and failed. Defense gave up too much but Also but gave the offense chances to win.

Team just makes too many mistakes. That's always been a problem for a long long time

I was never a big Romo fan. I also knew he wasn’t a franchise QB. That being said, he was a far better QB than the great one.

He did against the Football team and also had back to back pick 6s against the Lions which allowed them to come back and win the game. One of those pick 6s were to Bobby Carpenter. But I'm sure that some will say that those plays were all of fault of Romo not having a "good enough" team around him. Since they seem to make excuses for Romo not getting it done, while claiming that all Dak supporters do is make excuses.

Or the revisionists history in pretending like Romo never had a bad game or that Romo always stepped up with the game on the line or that Romo was always capable of winning big games/elimination games/playoff games.

This is coming from a non Dak fan. What did Romo ever win?

Needed Dak to complete a 5 yard pass to extend the drive in OT, he one hopped it behind the receiver. Don’t care what his stats were up to that point.

Meanwhile, the defense gave up 500 yards and 36 points...BUT THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OUTCOME!

Romo once got blamed for losing 51-48 in a game where he threw 6 TD passes, so nothing surprises me anymore with this fan base. You just don't understand football.

Romo would have won that game last night. Dak may be a better leader but Romo always made everyone look better around him. It’s not December so Romo would have had a huge comeback and guys like America’s Cowboy would have been angry about the win.

No, that is a false narrative and false logic.

The actually narrative is Romo elevates teams, the degree being a matter of subjective debate.

On the other hand, Dak looks like garbage when he doesn’t have a perfect team and he’s the main reason the perfect team is not perfect.

Dak has had every piece in place, while Romo’s talent was masking the fact that pieces were not in place.

The big difference between Dak and Romo is that Dak is very good at not taking chances with throws. That's why his INT numbers have always been good. Romo could make some great throws or just infuriate you with a poorly timed interception. For their careers, Dak is a bus driver and Romo was a gunslinger with both ending up lacking.

The Dak from earlier this year was a step above that. He was hitting people very well in a way he didn't used to. I'm not going to forget or deny that. The further we get away from it, the more flukey it looks though.

I mean did they bother to look at our rushing stats to end the 2012-2013 season, when Jerry started stripping power away from Jason, in large part because of Romo’s new contract?
