So Gallimore and Lawrence could be back Thursday.. I dare say that puts a different face on the defense.. Osa seems to have hit the rookie wall but Hill has been very active in his snaps since coming back. I think the DT rotation with Osa, Hill, Gallimore and Watkins? has a chance to be pretty good. I've lost hope for Bohanna to really show anything this year.. He just aint ready to stand up to grown men and he's not quick enough to split the double teams .. The other guys are even if they are smaller.

I see you half-way on Bohanna though.

Imo, Quinton is actually impressively agile and mobile for one that is 330+ lb big fella.
i don't see a slow lumbering snail of a blob with him.

Problem is he may look like Tarzan ... but he seems to play like Jane. i have not seen one stand out game from him.
even in the rotation packages he plays. And what i don't get is the DL rotations places him in there even though hes'
just not a pass rusher. But even as a run defender, i'm not seeing disruptive stout strength and power with him, at this time.

Glad that like most of this rookie class, he's managed to stay healthy, but i'm not feeling his impact as a contributor now this year.

Hopefully he'll eventually gain much more feel for the NFL trenches, he'll get significantly stronger and become more powerful at the point
of attack, be put on the ground as much, and won't as easy steered out of the way.

For all of the soon to return notes, designated to return ..news brief, etc, etc, or even hearing say so from Stephen Jones or Jerry,
. ..I'll choose to wait to actually hear these returning players as " Full Practice Participant " with the rest of the team before i can get happy and excited.

" Full practice all week and expected to be activated for the Game ... " .. ala Trysten Hill style

Sorry but i've just too long, too often heard this soon returning bit .

Ok thanks
He can start working his way back though now
But he also will take a roster spot so a decision will have to be made soon
I think he could be back for next game though if his conditioning is there and with hill suspended we won’t have to make a roster move till hill comes back

I think Bo is gonna take some time to really develop
That’s a tough position and he’s gonna need to match his strength with his weight and learn how to attack and force double teams
He’s a nice prospect but he’s got a long ways to go to be an impactful player
What we need to to grow into is a guy who can clog the middle and force doubles teams that ties up blockers
To do that he’s gonna have to get stronger and smarter

It’s a deceiving 4.8 speed
He's so slow they had to use a sun dial.

Nice. So Gallimore back in 2-3 weeks?

Gallimore now eligible to return at any time over the next 21 days. Looks unlikely he'll play Thursday but having him for the last five weeks could give Dallas a fresh interior force for the stretch run.

What exactly does 21 day window mean?

When is he going to take the field?

Once the 21 day "window" opens Gallimore can practice during that time span without counting towards the 53 man roster. The Cowboys can activate him at any time. If they do not activate him within 21 days I believe he reverts to IR the rest of the season.

Expect Gallimore back for the Dec. 12 game at Washington.

So just in time for the last 4 games of the regular season, we will finally be able to see the Cowboys defense as it was intended:

DE's Gregory and Lawrence, backups Golston, Armstrong, Basham

DT's Hill and Gallimore, backups Urban, Watkins, Hamilton

LB's Parsons in the middle, LVE and Neal, backups Bernard, Gifford

CB's Diggs, Brown, Jordan backups Wright and Joseph

Safties Kearse, Hooker backups Wilson and Neal

You know, it's rather fortuitous that Gallimore was deemed ready just as Hill was being suspended. A more suspicious person might think there is a connection, that certain players were being held back as part of a strategy to insert a rested, fresh group of defenders just in time for a surge at the end of the season to build momentum into the playoffs. But that guy would be a conspiracy theorist and that's not me, nope....

Just a note Donovan Wilson was placed on IR with a chest/shoulder problem the day before Thanksgiving. Don't know if it's a three week thing or a season ending injury.

Shocker: PFF has Hill at 77.8.
