Diggs is still goo but was great the first two months. Does anyone rennet his back tightening against Carolina? Then he hurt his ankle later. Is this a possible cause if his struggles? I think he okayed good the last two Gabe’s but he had t as good as before the bye:
People distort reality based the story they have in their head -- if you look at some of the ratings out there on Diggs he really was never shutting people down. He had a hot streak of INTs because he has ball skills, and people notice INTs because they are such big plays. It made people start to talk about him as if he was better than he is. INTs go away, and now he has "regressed".

When any conversation about a CB starts with "Sure he has 8 picks" and its not the following offseason..yeah thats an ender. sorry nothing you say after "he has 8 picks" means much if thats your "whatever" disclaimer.
Diggs play has been below average at best! Big deal he has 8 picks and a couple of those were because the receivers was open didn't come up with clean catches when they were OPEN ( New England Game). Between Diggs and Brown, the Cowboys has one of the worst set of corners in the game. These dudes give up so many big plays game after game it's a fricking crap show out there. These two probably lead the league in giving up the most penalty yards in the game.

Diggs gets a boatload of INTs and fans on here tout him as the next coming of Deion Sanders or Charles Woodson

as soon as the INTs stop he’s now a below average player

Just the way it works around here. You’re either 100% or 0%

The lack of pressure from the team other than Parsons may be a big reason. Need Gregory or even DLaw...but Gregory's absence has hurt.
.....probably right. Gregory was getting enough, and causing tension back there. Hopefully, right the ship Thurs.

Absolutely!

Trevon needs to get serious and back to basics, watching film, practicing harder, working on technique and tackling, covering better, etc.
So he hasn't been serious, all the tLk went to his head according to you. Doesn't practice hard and isn't taking his job serious.....?lol

I said he needs to get serious and practice harder. Look at his results and performance the past few weeks. It speaks for itself. Or are you one of those who hates to criticize your own players? Wannabe player police? lol. You think you scare me from speaking my mind, Mr. Wannabe Player Police???

Ball skills...elite
Cover skills....average

With that being said defensive pressure makes a massive difference. With no pressure 99% of cbs will struggle or look bad unless you're like one of the few freaks of nature like Revis, sanders, woodson, prime shrerman and etc .

How do you overrated CBs?

Only in comparison with another cornerback. He's not the next Deion Sanders.

Now if they would have said he's more impactful than Reggie White or Ray Lewis, I wouldn't have had a problem with that.

Diggs is a gambler. He goes all in, and when he loses, he's out of the game. I like the guy, but I'd like to see him learn when the gamble is worth it. I'd also like to see him more concerned with tackling than stripping the ball.

The reason for Diggs slight decline is not Diggs slight decline but the forum knows only to levels. GOAT and sucks like no other. So all our young cannons who started above expectations are now "in a slight decline" simply because the "boom" era is over and they are coming back into the normal development process. Micah is still doing better than expected, but I hope we will be spared of such threads when he hits the "rookie wall" or has a "slight decline".

Diggs high risk plays weren't expected by opposing teams so he got through with them. Now they know what's up and adjust. So he will have to adjust too.
