This offensive line started sputtering when Tyron went down and started playing musical chair with the positions....

As I posted in the game thread, the Oline play is by far the biggest concern. Something is wrong there. They just didn’t forget how to run block. Our blocking scheme has been figured out, players have undisclosed injuries, etc. They better get it figured out because we won’t win a single playoff game unless we can start running the ball again.

Defenses are stacking the line of scrimmage and running more heavy blitzes than I’ve ever seen. There’s generally one more rusher than there are blockers. Yet, Dak is still looking downfield. I don’t know if he’s the problem or the play calling is the problem.

We had the number one offense in the league and then the Jones morons started talking about Conner Williams getting to many penalties and they disrupted our entire O-line.

Go back to what was working.

Like I said in a different thread, we’re getting our legs back, and it started in New Orleans tonight. It wasn’t the prettiest win, but the focus is getting the W at all cost.

We’re getting back Randy Gregory and Neville Gallimore for the Washington game. We’re getting healthy at the right time.

I’m not worried too much about the offense. We’ve seen what they can do and I know they can right the ship. We’ve seen them do it before, they’ll do it again.

We’re getting right for the home stretch of this season.

That’s partly true, but the biggest problem is we’re not getting any movement with our Oline in the run game. Our linemen are simply getting beat physically. That’s not good. There’s no reason for it.

This is my concern
You have to understand the game plan and philosophy before saying that. I’m not pretending that I do, but I would hope the while philosophy was give up some underneath plays, but this QB can’t drive it down field or consistently, so keep everything in front. Almost every first down throw was to guys on comebacks who were diving to the ground. My only complaint was letting Hill kill us running on one drive, but we seem to have shut that down later.

This defense can’t do that against solid offenses. Our offense must regroup and adjust or the season is over.

The defense played like it was supposed to against a backup quarterback with suspect passing abilities - four interceptions, one for a touchdown.
I'll celebrate the win and moving to 8-4 (Go Raiders).
But this offense concerns me. It really, really does.
Dak won't run. He seems to panic in the midst of blitzes.
I want to believe in Dak. I want to say something is wrong with him. Maybe in a funk. Maybe just hiding an injury.
But he has to pick up his game. He needs to be getting better down the stretch.
And Kellen Moore seems like an offensive play caller for a high school football team.
It's like he's not even in the big leagues.
Mike McCarthy' strong suit is offensive play calling.
I sure hope some team offers Moore a head coaching job. We need a competent OC for this high-powered offense.
I think it's a shame Jerry has handed this offense over to a kid learning how to ride it with training wheels.
Simply pathetic.

Off topic question: Does anyone else think it is selfish for Zeke to still be playing with a bummed knee especially when we have Pollard? It seems to be hurting the team more than benefiting the team. I can understand being a competitor but seeing him on the field getting stuffed several times really is making me question if he should be out there. I rather have him get healed up then waste downs with him. Don't get me wrong, that last run he had to seal the game was awesome.

Concerned about the offense more than anything

Easy, now....let's just go for 12-5 and that'll do even 11-6 wins the division, and then the fun begins.....

Nope.....If you can't see the pieces are there for a title...then that's on you. I don't like seeing Parsons hanging out playing the spy for most of the night....but I get it.....it was an odd match up tonight vs Hill....but I wanna see max pressure w/ Lawrence, Parsons and Gregory when he gets back. You can't double everyone. I still think we have been sitting on that Double AA gap blitz...so we will see. We just have too many good athletes on defense not to be a championship team.
