I was researching something on the pressures put on QB's, and with each search, Parsons name was brought up in multiple articles. I see the comments by the fans here, and it doesn't seem to be enough. This season will be one for the books, and we will be talking about it for a long time.

The ups and downs of the 2021 campaign are agonizing, now more than not.

But what a great aspect is, this kid is reshaping the front seven defender as he switches from position to position.

Bob Lilly was maybe the best I have seen. I cannot tell you how many times he would be double teamed, and then the offense would still chip him with a running back.

But I have never seen anything like Parsons. People talk about LT, and he was scary good. But I am beginning to think there are things this kid is doing even LT couldn't.

Now imagine Parsons in a 3/4 defensive front. Coming off that edge with his speed. LT didn't come close to Micah's top end. And his hand fighting techniques, as a rookie, are off the charts.

What a great player. And this is just the beginning.

thanks for posting and I was on the Parsons train before we drafted him and wanted him over CB and Slater. That said he's exceeded my expectations thus far. he is the very definition of a beast. so quick with his closing speed. That sack of Hill last night was sweet to watch

Yup. I wanted this kid on our team since November of last year. I saw him in that cotton bowl and he LEAPED off the TV at me.

One small comment: Parsons doesn't just run fast, he thinks fast. He is really decisive and IMO, that is just as important as raw foot speed. He sees a play and he goes. When you add in his footspeed, he gets to a play really, really quickly compared to others.

IMO, Parsons is so good that he is the type of player that you build around. Coaches, scheme and teammates should be people who complement him.

Great points and exactly why the DEF needs to be built around him hopefully in a 3-4 front which would suit him better.

Yes. Definitely exceeding all hopes and expectations. I was mildly happy with the pick at the time cuz Jaylon and LVE sucked. But I never thought he would be what he is. Dude's a monster.

On a side note I'm getting a #11 jersey for Christmas

I think we should convert to Base 3-4 effective immediately. We have depth everywhere for this personnel and defensive scheme. We have the NTs (Watkins, Hamilton, Bohanna), 3Ts (Odighizuwa, Gallimore, Hill), 5Ts (Lawrence, Golston, Hill, Armstrong), and OLBs (Parsons, Gregory, Armstrong, Golston, Basham) to make the scheme not only work, but thrive.

You absolutely cannot argue with a clear conscience anymore that we don't have the proper personnel for a 3-4 base defense.

Lighting fast closing speed. It's clear the opposition can't properly gauge how fast he will be there. They are suprised every time.

That sack was phenomenal because he's one of very few guys who was gonna make that play. No one else on the team was closing on Hill like that, and Hill was beating us like a drum around that time. Total game changer.
