I look at it this way. I would rather have Gregory and Kearse then just Tank. I hope Tank finishes the season strong because right now it is not an argument. I am concerned about the number of games that Gregory is missing though.

Dallas has a defense that’s as good as anyone’s. Whatever we lack defensively we more than makeup with playmaking.

Get a Vita Vea type of DT and another above average LB and we should be good as long as Bossman Fat turns out to be a good 2nd CB.

We needed to hit over the years on CB, Safety, LB, And DT and one maybe two become pro bowl players. Most teams find a diamond in the rough and are on there way. We,however, have missed with Jaylon, Vandy, Brown , Robinson, Chidobe, Jackson, Jackson, Wilson, Lewis,etc...If one of those turns out..... Diff. ball game! Must hit on those later rounds as we have on offense.

Keeping him is going to be tricky.......notice we've heard nothing about an extension from Stephen. Just me, but I'm not sure Stephen's ready to give him a long-term deal. He has no Pro Bowl ( I know but it's important to Stephen ) nor has he played a full 16 games. The tag may be too expensive. Either way, it's going be interesting to see how it plays out.

It’s an offensive league. Defenses are nothing but a complimentary piece these days.

Expecting consistency on defense just isn’t a realistic goal anymore.

Can’t rely on getting turnovers, especially from the elite qb’s. This defense has struggled in giving up the big play either on the ground or through the air

Are we sure we know what we're getting in Gregory? I'm not bashing him by any means but we KNOW what we have in DLaw. How will Randy react to his first major contract? Not all players respond well......

None of this matters... Dallas only goes after 2nd and 3rd tier FA's and lives or dies by the draft. This year we may be drafting in the lower 20's at best. Dak's contract will severely hamper this team for years to come.
