He simply pointed out a great move by Philly and the need for Dallas to make better moves like the example pointed out......and yet he is told to leave? Some people are far too fast to be anti-1A should someone not agree with what the mob thinks.
The comparison is nonsensical though. Jaylon Smith is unable to play football at a NFL level and had a bad deal to boot. Dallas tried all offseason to trade him but no one wanted him on his deal/give up compensation.
Carson Wentz plays a far more important position and while he has been injured quite a bit non of his injuries ever limited his ability to play QB once recovered.
Indy also has Reich, Wentz former OC in Philly so they had incentive to trade for Wentz and hoped he bounced back to 2017 Wentz.
If Wentz got injured to the point of missing more than 25% of his snaps, the Eagles would of gained a 2nd round pick in 2022. 30 % if the Colts made the playoffs.
They traded up to get Wentz and shipped him off for a 3rd in 2021 and a 2nd or 1st in 2022 depending on his health.
Besides, not too often does a team want/need to trade a 28 year old QB and want to role the dice on a rookie QB to lead the "rebuild". Wentz wanted out.
So the idea of Dallas to
make better moves sounds good but doesn't mean much.
