I hope Kellan Moore watched NE run outside vs Buffalo!

NE, ran inside and outside vs Buffalo, even when Buffalo, with 9-10 man fronts , knew NE was going to run.
Kellan, it’s not always about speed when running outside! You need well designed plays, and players executing their blocks. Watching NE’s runs outside: they often designed plays where their blockers had 2 on 1 blocks, or really good angles to make their blocks.

After watching NE beat Buffalo, while only throwing 3 passes, this should demonstrate to any knowledgeable fan how important coaching is! Belicheat was masterful in this game.
If our HC and Coordinators step, with the talent we have, and the talent we have coming back, we should make a serious run to the Super Bowl this year!

Our offensive line isn't good enough to be able to rely on them like the Patriots did tonight. I don’t know what happened since September, but if the cowboys run it 43 times on Sunday, they’ll probably gain 86 total yards (unless Pollard breaks a big one). The line is borderline bad.

Running the ball outside has a lot to do with leverage more than great blocking.

Also, just asking, all of you know the Saints are unbelievable run defenders right?

The way we run the ball is definitely part of it but I think you may also be overrating our offensive line in comparison to New England's.

I agree. Early on we had fans, talking about the O line, saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. It was broke. Many fans just did not see it!

Was it the weather or were the coaches that didn't trust Jones throwing a wet football in the wind? Allen threw the ball 30 times in the same weather. So I am going to go out on a limb here and say. Kellan Moore would have called more than 3 passing plays tonight in Buffalo.

Of course. Allen does have an extremely strong arm though. Belicheat knee his QB’s throws would be effected by the wind more.

I realize our O line is not NE’s, but if our run plays were designed better we should be able to run the ball more consistently! Hel_!, NE ran vs 9-10 man fronts vs Buffalo!

People are being ridiculous about our Oline right now.

When Tyron Smith plays it’s one of the better Olines in football still.

Our offensive coordinator needs to help them out and work on our run schemes.

Yes, the Saints are very good at stopping the run. Most of our run play did not stretch the field though.

Let’s see what happens vs Washington. Moore has 10 days to design some good run plays.

As I said , may be Tyron and Martin are not exactly Tyron and Martin we knew, they are on the wrong side of career rise. :( , still they are better than what we have in other positions, Now this Laell guy gets his head out of behind and get in shape , it will help.

95% of the run plays Moore is calling are between the tackles. Literally running into brick walls, time and again. Two outside run plays from last week provided 91 of the 146 total rushing yards.

Man, the run blocking has been below average and/or bad for 6 weeks. Can’t run it great against the Saints or Patriots? Cool. But not being able to run it against mediocre run defenses is an indictment on our run offense as a whole.

A lot of it though is they wanted to put the game in Dak’s hands.

If we go down in a game there is no real commitment to the run game.

With how Dak has played since his calf injury, I’d be hesitant to rely too heavily on Dak in ANY game. I know, a lot of people on this forum will cry that I’d dare criticize Dak, but it’s an objective truth. He’s underperformed way too much lately. He needs to quit being so antsy and giving up too early on his reads.

Kellen Moore also needs to step up.
