Lol at fans in here thinking words can fire up an opposing team to victory. If the Cowboys are a better team they will thrash WFT no matter what words were said. Words do not play on the field. Good on McCarthy as this will fire up his team LOL.

Consistently no, Quinn needs to be the defensive coordinator. I don’t want him doing both
McCarthy being there or not has no bearing on whether we win or lose this game.

McCarthy is not a good coach. That's why he will be replaced by Kellen Moore or Dan Quinn (If that is the right choice will remain to be seen) when we're 1 and done in the playoffs this year.

Yeah a Super Bowl ring means nothing for head coach. You just never learn. Lol

Meh, Jimmy Johnson called a damn radio show 3 days before the 93 NFC Title game and declared “we will win the ballgame, put it in 3 inch headlines”

Seifert was so thrown off he was wondering whether JJ’s balls were brass or paper mache.

anyway, Big Mike is just trying to give the guys some confidence, since I’m sure they don’t feel as good about themselves as they did around the beginning of November.

Bulletin board material.

Plus, knowing our bunch, they will already figure they've won.

Those words serve no good purpose, and they are rarely said.
Don't read too far into that overused phrase. If a team truly needs words from an opposing HC to win, the game is already over. What he said was nothing more than being confident in the team.
