I disagree. I know there is a portion of the fan base that is jumping off a cliff.

This is a MUST win for Washington, but not for the boys. The boys can lose this game and still get their act together and take care of business. Its about getting healthy for the Cowboys.

The Cowboys have a 99.4% chance of making the playoffs so no particular game is "must-win" just as long as they win one. It just depends on what the goal is. If you still want the 1 seed then yeah, they must win. If you just want to make the playoffs no matter even if its the 7 seed then we can still lose a few.

Regardless what happens tomorrow I’m not going to be won over by the team or McCarthy until I see how this season ends. No matter how good fans feel if the Cowboys win tomorrow they’ll turn against the team real quick if they show up flat for the Giants next week and lose. I want to see us finish the season strong.

They can, but it certainly makes it more difficult to reach our goal. Based strictly on numbers, we likely have to win three of the next five to win the NFC East. One of those wins likely has to come against Washington if they don't lose to some other team.

If we were to just win three of the next five, I'd actually prefer it if it's the final three because that might show that we've got it turned around in time for the playoffs (or win three of the final four and lose the finale only because it's meaningless). So win or lose this game, everything we want to achieve is still in front of us. I'd prefer we win all five and go into the playoffs with a full head of steam, but there's no reason to panic if we lose to Washington.

Jimmy’s proclamation was a legit guarantee. The Cowboys were playing great football when he made that proclamation. I was also very confident that team was going to win. I’m not so confident the current team will win tomorrow. Not saying they won’t but I’m not real confident. This is not nearly as good a Cowboys team as the one Jimmy had.

We’re talking about the 93 San Francisco 49ers. In January 94 Jimmy made his prediction. That was a terrific 49ers team and so were the Cowboys. Both teams were much better than this years Washington and Cowboys. However the Cowboys had the home field advantage against San Francisco in January 94. We’re on the road tomorrow.
