This is why they pay the QB, WR and draft a WR in the 1st

All on the passing game today because Pollard is out, Elliott isn't 100% and even if they were healthy, the WFT run D is good, ranks 3rd.

However, their pass D is another story. They rank 28th in yards, dead last in TD's, 27th in completion % and 26th in picks.

I am looking for TB II here on the game plan and we should approach, if not pass, 75% pass attempts.

Time for Prescott and Cooper to earn their money and Lamb that 1st round pick. And put pressure on the Mean Little Kid to keep up.

This may be the anti BUF-NE game on Monday night.

If they can't pass this week, I don't see them turning things around. This is the week you have to get right.

Washington is going to want to run the football. Dallas needs to come up and get a lead to force them to throw.

I don't like WRs in the first round. Mainly because if you're team is struggling elsewhere, A WR isn't having any meaningful impact. Unlike what Parsons has done for our otherwise crappy defense. Wrs aren't putting you over the top, they are an addition to. However, considering the circumstances of that particular draft, I fully support the CD Lamb pick, and I said as much at the time. Every draft is different.

Relying on Dak is not a good idea. He’s not that guy.

A game like this favors him but when we get to the playoffs you do not want Dak Prescott in a shootout with the big dogs of the NFC.

We are a elite football team when Dak does less. When Stats Prescott is in the lineup we suck.

Getting a lead and being balanced is when we are elite.

Will our OL be able to protect Dak without a running game? This will determine our effectiveness.

I think our defense with the pieces back will be physically better. I think our run game will surprise some. I feel better reading this thread

It’s going to be 50 degrees in Caesar’s Rome today no snow rain in sight. No excuses for receivers falling down slipping wet footballs this is perfect fall weather in December in the Northeast . Cowboys caught a break .

Only thing I worry is ball grip.

Football team having DEs out will have little consequence if the OL don’t win their blocking assignments in tandem. The WFT is no joke at run D

their interior is stout

Stats Prescott has been pretty crappy the past 4 weeks..... it probably won't turn out well whether they throw it 5 or 65 times today.
He and his receivers also haven’t practiced and barely played a game together during that stretch and he missed a game due to an injury himself; so he’s obviously not 100%, but today is the day that we see that high octane offense on display once again!
