Video: Tony Pollard - Internet Doctor details injury

So, here we have a detailed description of approximately what to expect.

We'll likely be obliged to hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.
At least, we're not left to believe that we're hopelessly doomed . . . :flagwave:

As this doctor meticulously described, there are many levels of recovery.

Can only sit him the rest of the way and hope he can get back on the field for the post season. I like what I saw from Clement yesterday. The Zeke situation is the most troubling. I don't know if he can hold up the rest of the way and it does not appear the Cowboys are in position to sit him yet.

I'd be fairly surprised if Pollard is given the "green light" to play next Sunday, since that injury is so recent.

You're right about Clement, though. He didn't set the world on fire, but he surely fit into the offense nicely.

I can't help but wonder if our fullback might be able to spell Zeke, if his condition happens to worsen. ;)

I want this team as healthy as possible for the playoffs. If the Cowboys came out and said they were sitting Zeke until the playoffs I'd be actually pretty excited about it. He can make plays for us in the playoffs and we are going to need him to, but it won't happen if he doesn't sit out and attempt to get healthy. He looks and plays like his legs are about to fall off.

How is Zeke helping the team in this condition?

Take your chances with Clement and Ito Smith against these lesser division teams and hope to have Zeke somewhat healthy for the playoffs.

So, anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks. 1 needs to be out, right from start, no matter how good he feels. The last thing we want is for him to reaggravate an injury because it seemed better. Hopefully he feels better by next week and they sit him an extra week just to be safe.

Clement will get better. Elliot ran better injured.. Let’s hope Elliot gets healthy, If Pollard wasnt injured I really wanted him to carry the run game for a few weeks..

The problem with that though, is now Dak doesn't have him there, keeping the chemistry and continuity going.

Pass protection, check downs, the Cowboys are in a bit of a dilemma with a shallow stable of RBs. Dak is looking pretty vulnerable right now and I think the loss of old reliable back there with him will be a big problem.

Dak is just gonna have to pull himself together. Things are never going to be optimal.

I think Dak is suffering from some self doubt right now; and for a QB that can be of the not good at all. Tony talked about how a security blanket (Witten) really helped him through tough times.

With Clement, I just don't want him to start fumbling...

Confidence was never an issue before. It's crazy he bet on himself for 2 years during the negotiations and there were many people who thought it was a bad gamble in the beginning. It doesn't make sense he's lacking now, but it appears to be so.

It's likely a cause of the Eagles seeing fit to release him, still, desperate times call for desperate measures. Let's hope we're lucky.

Keep in mind. Pollard will get the best treatment you can possibly imagine.

I would sit him as long as he needs.

We likely lost the 1 seed and the 2 seed will be difficult to get as well with the Bucs playing nobody.

I would like to see the coaches rest Zeke because he's been limping around the field for a month. Zeke condition hasn't got better, and now Pollard is out.

Can't help but to think this team is sacrificing a better chance at winning in the Playoffs for winning these regular season games.
