It's the end of the season, but its like people are talking about us having a lot of time to turn things around.. Ideally you want to be going into the playoffs hot, rolling over teams. I mean I hope so too but at this point you watch games for the cowboys to prove themselves and not go with homerism.

We have four games left so there’s still time to get on a roll to start feeling better about Dak and our offense. If last week is any indication our defense is starting to come on but it’s our offense that will do us in if our passing and running game don’t improve. One big concern I have is if we wrap up our division we may pull back. We can’t afford to just lay down the rest of the season looking ahead to the playoffs. We need to use the final games to start playing better. If we stay in the running for the number one seed long enough that should keep us motivated at least I hope it does. If we don’t stay motivated we’ll limp into the playoffs.

That’s a big if. With two injured running backs and Tyron out of the lineup it’s going to be tough getting back on track. If we don’t get the offense rolling again and Dak doesn’t come out of the rut he’s in, it’s likely going to be a one and done regardless where we’re seeded.

No Hopkins is a big issue for AZ though.

Green Bay will lose one of their AFC north games vs Baltimore or Cleveland. Tamps has a cake schedule so I don’t think they’ll lose one but if they do we control our destiny for the 1 seed.

1 seed is very much in play but 2 seed is extremely likely if we win out. It’s hard to go 15-2 my man, not sure why we are upset about being 9-4. Especially when many here didn’t even think this would be a 10 win team.

Most likely scenario based on remaining schedules has TB/GB getting the top 2 seeds. It's unlikely cause all of the top 3 teams need to lose 1 game, but we would hold the tie-breaker if there was a 4 way tie.

Would love to avoid playing both the Packers/Bucs, but we need help to do so.

TB still plays the Panthers twice. To get the one seed, aside from all that was said by the OP, the Cowboys need the Panther to win one of those games or no 1 seed for the Cowboys.

The Cowboys are going to have to beat a combination of good teams in the playoffs, and some will be on the road. Defense and a solid running game will likely carry this team far...so we need healthy RBs and 5 offensive linemen we can count on to run block. They can beat any of these top NFC Teams, just need to be peaking as they enter the playoffs.

With the 1 seed, the Cowboys get a 1st round bye in the playoffs and play at home as long as they keep winning. It's still all possible so what you are saying just shows you have no faith in the Cowboys.

It would help if we can find a run game again.

Do you think GB beats both the Ravens and Browns? I think one of those teams pulls it out. At that point we gotta beat AZ and the 2 seed is ours.

GB isn't facing Lamar Jackson and the Browns have to play them on the road. On top of all this, Cowboys have to win out, I think after they clinch, there will be a letdown as well as resting players.

If we win out, we need Green Bay to lose one and Tampa Bay to lose one then GB, TB, AZ and Dallas all likely end up at 13-4 and we take the number one seed, doesn't matter what AZ does as long as we win out and beat them. Don't know what the odds are for all that to occur but with Tampa Bay and Green Bay's schedule I would say not good. We likely will be number 4 unless we get some breaks and this is finally our year!
One seed is probably gone, dont see Tampa losing another game with their cake schedule.

Two seed is in reach however, if we win out and the Ravens do us a solid and beat the Pack.

that’s not true. The Saints could beat them (they already have this season) and that would take care of it

I just want Dak to get back to himself and for us to be healthy.

If the Cowboys and TB both finish the season at 13-4, TB has the head-to-head tiebreaker so we are going to need the Panthers to win one of those two games against TB.

there’s a flaw in your original math. If we win out we automatically would get the 3 over Arizona being 4
