I’m sure Micah was unhappy that he didn’t get a sack or fill the stat sheet with huge game changing plays.
Bottom line - Parsons vs Giants - 1 tackle….period.

It happens, young fella. The other team has professionals too, along with coaches.
Good news….you get the Washington OL and QB again next week. :)

I don't think he has many opportunities to rush the QB and honestly that's just misusing him

They're misusing him. Yes the defense played well and got takeaways, but the enemy QBs had way too much time in the pocket to throw. Parsons in the middle as a hook curl zone defender is a waste of the best pass rusher in the NFL. Yes he's not bad at coverage but it gives the QB way too much time.

You can get away with it against bad teams but against playoff caliber opponents you MUST be able to get pressure and take away time in the pocket. The enemy had all day to throw on most occasions today. They got 3 sacks, we only got 1, and very few hurries to boot. Quinn's pass rush game plan was awful today.

You seem happy about that, Charles.

The Parsons hate on this board is unbearable. It was clearly the defensive line and Quinn's fault.

Someone probably told him Dak will be the QB here for 4 more years LOL

This was the worst use of Parsons all season.

Having just standing in the middle of the field being completely out of the play should be a fireable offense.
not calling timeout with 11 seconds after a conversion for a first down inside the 10 should be a fireable offense

Choosing to receive the first half kickoff instead of deferring to the second half kickoff should be a fireable offense

etc

He does need experience in the middle too. I hope the team doesn't try to make him a one-trick pony. He needs to develop at all of his roles. That is the mark of a true master. Just like WRs have to be decoys sometimes for a play to work. LBs too.

When you force him into a role where he’s going to be a linebacker most of the game then it will quickly become a lackluster event.

He’s a special pass rusher. Everything else he’s just ok at.

M.P. covered that receiver very well and prevented a touchdown, Actually. he did it better than A. Brown would have.

No one is unhappy after a win. This is a team sport and Parsons is a team player. Nothing wrong with other players making plays.

Yep, you cant expect Cowboys fans to appreciate defense, as you say it's not about the individual, it's the unit and the ability to change and show different threats depending upon the cover.

This fanbase is way too concerned with individuals.....the reason for the improved defense, especially from the last couple of weeks is the triple threat of Tank/Gregory and Micah which creates hurrys and interceptions for an average(ish) secondary.

We win by conceding just two field goals and fans complain about the defense.

Parsons name came up only once today on a pass defense. He needs at least one more big to have a real good shot at DPOY. Somewhat surprised he wasn’t in on more plays today.
