But if we want to see the Boys win a Super Bowl, MM is going to have to go all in with Dak and just let him throw the mid to deep balls to the WR’s as well as calling a few running plays with Dak. It is the only way to get out of the offensive slump.

Stop being scared and let Dak loose and let him lead this team. This is the way!

That’s my point. I know Dak is not a running QB, but he can run it a few times a game and gain some long yards. Right now the linebackers don’t even account for him as a runner.

What makes you think it's McCarthy that's preventing Dak from pushing the ball down the field more?

Seems to me that while it could be play calling, Dak also is getting gun shy at pushing the ball down the field.

He’s clearly apprehensive to takeoff and run. We do need that element of his game but it does come with a risk. When he does run it looks like he’s lost a step.

Again, I believe MM is protecting Dak, by not running him for a few plays and by getting the ball out early, so as to limit QB sacks.
