We are now winning with a championship formula

-Defenses
-turnovers battle
-running game
-smart, less risky offense

Is it sexy? No

however we have beaten

-Patriots
-Chargers
-Saints @ NO
-Vikings @ minny with a backup qb
-swept the East
-completely demolished the falcons

many of these are playoff teams or teams who still have a shot at the playoffs

Teams don’t want to see us because we are a very, very good team

Yes.. That’s why a lot of us are upset.

The offense has been underperforming for awhile now but the worst part is our QBs accuracy & decision making.

Followed by WR drops.

Followed by coaches overplaying Zeke and underplaying Pollard.

Dak wasn’t off on many yesterday, was he?? I can’t recall one. He did miss some open guys and the fumble was very bad.

A completely healthy Cowboys team is a team that should strike fear into any and all teams. There really isn’t a weakness (except Zuerlin) but there’s a lot of parody in the NFL and crazy things happen. Hopefully we can get in the playoffs and have as many healthy players as possible because I really like our chances and would enjoy seeing them win

The way we are winning is unsustainable. We can't keep counting on 4 turnovers a game. We are struggling offensively against bad teams and have been for seven weeks now.

I don’t know people keep saying this.

We’ve been this way since game 1 of the season. It’s just what we are.

Also, we have more playmakers on defense than just about any team in the league with a fierce pass rush and a secondary that contests a ton of passes.

Turnovers for Dallas are just a normal thing.

Dak had a decent game yesterday. It did not help with all the dropped passes again.
The run game had 125 yards. Split between the backs. Once again Pollard gaining yards on the outside. Something idiot Moore refuses to do with Zeke. Always up the middle still.

Williams back. at LG, so maybe that was why they did have a little more success up the middle.

3 straight road games, 4 road games out of 5. That is tough. And it can take a toll on teams more than fans may realize.
They are home now for 2 games. Get in a good practice. They are healthy as they can be as far as we know. We should get Hill and ODiggy back also.

So they can prepare for a game, and no travel. That extra day can make a difference after the 3 road games.

The offensive execution is sloppy and we've been winning games against sloppier opponents. You just can't win in the playoffs that way. I think cupcake Mike needs to trade in the team mental-health day for a day of actual practice each week. These guys haven't been crisp in a very long time.

Maybe our play made those other teams look sloppy. :muttley:

Zeke no longer has the ability or speed to run on the outside

Not with a hurting knee with a brace on it. But with the right play call and blocking, they could get him to the edge, then let him run from there.
That is on Moore.

Huge Zeke fan but, ya, he doesn't have it anymore. He's not getting much help from the O line either but if we have to run outside the tackles then Pollard and Clement are the go to guys.

we’ve literally seen countless number of teams win Super Bowls this exact same way. Of course we’d all love for the offense to get back in rhythm, but this defense is plenty capable of carrying the load.

The way we are winning is unsustainable. We can't keep counting on 4 turnovers a game. We are struggling offensively against bad teams and have been for seven weeks now.

We have been desperate for years for a defence that regularly creates turnovers and give the offence extra possessions. Now we cant win like that because it is unsustainable? Why did we bother adding playmakers to the defence then? If we can keep applying pressure on the offence then turnovers are sustainable. What isn't susntainable is repeatedly kicking FGs in the redzone. That has to change in order to get to the conference title.
