I remember the draft talk a bit. He came out of Stanford right? Was supposed to be a good blocker and all around player. It seems the more passes he catches the less effective his blocking game becomes

Jarwin is an awful blocker. We don't have a good TE as far as blocking goes on the team. We have two good receiving TE's. The Michigan TE probably has more upside as far as blocking goes, but he is not near the receiver or Shultz or Jarwin.

Sprinkle is doing a solid job in the blocking role.

I’m sure somebody who breaks down film could argue this one way or the other. But from watching live and rewatching games, he does his job well.

Attributed to extreme weird player love. When someone buys into this, they simply cannot fathom their hero not being good at anything. I even saw people claiming stuff such as Emmit never got caught from behind and Emmit never ran out of bounds to avoid being hit. Just weird.

I have long since added Orlovsky to the very long list of talking heads to whom I pay absolutely no attention. He has said dumber things than this... but not many.. This take is easily top (bottom) 5.

It's coin flip frankly. They both suck at it. That's why we had Bell on the roster last year and why we have Sprinkle this year. Frankly Sprinkle caught everything thrown his way on Sunday so I would spend this offseason trying to figure out if he can be the 3-down tight end and move on from Schultz or Jarwin or both.. Pass catching tight ends are a dime a dozen.. Ones who can seal a DE so you can run outside are not..
