I support all of our players....I criticize but I don't spew ignorance, and yes, I do like Dak and I feel that, while not great, he is very good. Is it his fault Jerry caved and paid him like a great one? No....I bet any of us here would gladly take more money at work.

I do. You have to look at many factors, objectively.

When he running, I think they are similar, but lot of factor to consider. Did Sean McVay kill Goff's confidence? Because I don't think he ever developed Goff, but only micro-managed him. When Dak isn't even running, then he just a statue. I'm not talking about escaping pressure but running for yards.

I can't blame McVay either, because LA doesn't have time to develop Goff when their championship window is now. In Detroit, Goff get time to develop as expectation is much lower, and he seem to get better with every game. The narrative that he can't win games without McVay is over, in fact Goff is the first QB on a 1 win team to beat a 10 win team by double digits in NFL history.

But you are right, there are too many factors involve, especially when Dak never had a coach like McVay. It really hard to tell. I think if the O-line is good, Goff would be unreal in this offense. If the O-line is bad, Dak is a much better QB. But Sunday game, it look like McVay was in Goff headset even though he wasn't, so Goff still has a really high ceiling.
