Speedster Terry McLaughlin will never be what he could be with Beer guy playing QB .. ball just gets hung up in the air and he has to play jump ball .

Make WFT one dimensional and halt Gibson & co,..and Beer-man will be forced to go far more quick dink-dunk to even have a chance at protecting him.

Would be even more great if our offense finally re-boosts and gets a big lead that forces Wash. to go into catch up pass mode.
Allow us to Pin ears back and bust the beer bottles...!!

Couldn't give a rip about the Swamps QB,..im concerned about Mr Murray and the preconceptions about his alleged demise

Him and Gilbert are basically the same guy

Heinickie can run around, extend plays and generally has good awareness in the pocket. Gilbert is a statue and has no awareness in the pocket. But I can see your point, overall, they are both subpar starting QBs, just different strengths/weaknesses.

The key COVID losses for Washington that they likely won't get back are Brandon Scherff and Cole Holcumb. Both were late additions this week and would seem unlikely to return in time for Sunday's game. Obviously Scherff is like their Zach Martin at RG. Holcumb is easily their best LB and makes all the defensive calls.

This post makes it seem like we are scared. We fear no one, neither should you.

There was a good discussion about this on local DC sports radio this morning. They likened McLaurin to Allen Robinson wasting away in Chicago. I'd expect Washington to be much more aggressive this offseason in trying to get a legitimate good QB.

Heinicke has some good skills. He's elusive and can make throws on the run, or he can burn you via running if you leave lanes open. However, I have no doubt that this defense can handle him just fine.

Personally, I want the Cowboys to face the best Washington has. It doesn't help to beat up on weak teams only to get punched in the mouth by upper-level teams. This team needs to show the entire league that it's their year and nothing is going to detour their march to the SB!

Heinicke is going to watch film of the previous game against Dallas and ask to be added back to the list. Dude is going to get trucked.

Not bad things, good things. We'll have to play some good offenses to get used to what's ahead. Enough with those depleted teams. All those "all that counts is a win" people having a great time because we're playing all these loser teams. Heinicke alone won't transform them into a threat but at least we're playing a starting QB again.
