Heinicke has some good skills. He's elusive and can make throws on the run, or he can burn you via running if you leave lanes open. However, I have no doubt that this defense can handle him just fine.
I expect a better game from him, if for not other reason than it would be hard to play worse. Don't necessarily expect that to result in many more points, but could see Washington scoring 21 or 24. Hopefully, our offense also will have a better game against their defense.
I expect him and all of the Covid players back
Kyle Allen played better than him anyway
There was a good discussion about this on local DC sports radio this morning. They likened McLaurin to Allen Robinson wasting away in Chicago. I'd expect Washington to be much more aggressive this offseason in trying to get a legitimate good QB.
Bad things, man.
Good for us, bad for them. But it was gonna be bad for them anyway . I figure we'll see the backup QB too after Taylor gets benched. All in all , when the ball goes up in the air we need to "put foots in em" from the start and cruise. Game needs to be done by halftime. I need Dak to run the offense in the first half, get up a few scores and drive the bus like an old lady in the second half. No bonehead yolo TO's from him win the game is basically won.
Jerry should Quarantine the bench or just burn it.At least he will have a warm bench when he has to get pulled.
He will be getting that ball out quick.
I definitely get it, I think the main thing is coming away with as many in the season as possible. The offense not putting up points is disturbing to no end though. The main thing of concerning me is Daks TOs. There are Alot of reasons the offense is struggling not just him of course. But that fumble, that pick 6 was inexcusable. In the playoffs especially if your defense has held up and allowed you to have a lead against a Rogers, Brady etc Dak cannot have those types of TO's. Having trouble moving the ball happens, but gifting teams the ball in non pressure situations (i.e. we have a lead and at the very least we need to maintain field position) that is where Dak has made some boneheaded mistakes.Playing against struggling teams and backup QB’s isn’t going to do us any good in the long run. This will be the fourth straight game facing a QB that started the season as a backup. The competition is going to go up in the playoffs. We’re not winning as impressively as many feel we should against the competition we’re facing, which has a lot of fans complaining despite the fact we’re winning.

What’s troubling is we’re needing multiple takeaways to win games against very average teams. Despite 8 takeaways the past two games we only won by a grand total of 25 points against Washington and the Giants. One of those takeaways led to a defensive score. You would think 8 takeaways including a defensive score would equate to a lot bigger margin of victory. I believe the root of the offensive struggles is the OL. Dak and the offense began to sputter when Tyron was out in the Denver game. We haven’t had much continuity upfront ever since.
