If Falcons and Chargers win do the Cowboys win the NFC East?

Falcons play the Lions and Chargers play the Texans. In no way does this affect our division.

Strength of schedule?

Strength of victory which is what I think he’s referring to is essentially the combined records of the opponents that a given team has beaten. That means there are several games this weekend that can swing strength of victory in the Cowboys' favor.

The tiebreaker between the Eagles and Cowboys comes down to strength of victory so you add all of the wins up from the teams the Eagles beat and the teams the Cowboys beat. You look for the teams that the Cowboys and Eagles beat that are different. Dallas beat the Chargers, Vikings, and Patriots. We need those 3 teams to win. The Eagles beat the Lions, Jets, and Broncos. We need those teams to lose. We only need 2 of those teams to win or lose over the next 3 weeks. There is a good chance that happens Chargers beat the Texans and the Lions lose To the Falcons. That would be the 2 outcomes we need to clinch.

I’m hoping the Cowboys have to win tomorrow night to clinch the NFC East. I want the team to be totally motivated going into the game tomorrow night to get the best performance we can. Playing for seeding may not keep the team inspired. I don’t want the game being more important to Washington than it is for us. They’re playing for their playoff lives.

Any given Sunday but I see that Goff is out tomorrow vs Atlanta and Houston isn't trying to win another game. A good chance that we will clinch before the game tomorrow night.

The Eagles beat the Falcons, too. Isn’t it a wash then?

EDIT: The Falcons are playing the Lions, another Eagles opponent. Nevermind.

We win the division if the Falcons and Chargers win at noon because it gives us the strength of victory tiebreaker over the Eagles.

Let's keep it simple.
Cowboys win Sunday night (btw their 1st home game in exactly one month) - Dallas is the 2021 NFC East Division Champion.

Very good chance Dallas is NFC East Champions before they even play Sunday night so this discussion is very relevant. The game Sunday night will most likely be irrelevant when it comes to clinching the division. The Sunday night game will most likely be about playoff seeding and going into the playoffs with momentum.

Good job breaking it down.......I wouldn't have done it (LOL).

Then division over and cowboys won east? Should be easy wins for those 2 teams.

I think what OP is saying, we may have the division clinched BEFORE our Sunday nite game. Quite frankly, it's not a reach.....
