Thoughts On Parsons Being Out For Entire Series?

Personally, I am not a fan of leaving your best defensive player on the sidelines for an entire series. I'm fine with giving him a couple plays off here and there, but an entire series?

Washington had 1 legit scoring drive Sunday night and it happened to be when Parsons sat for the entire drive.

What are your thoughts on this? I'm hoping that this isn't something we do in the playoffs.

The coaches know what they’re doing. Fans don’t.

We were not losing that game. He is young and recovers quick. But we need this Defense healthy for the playoffs. And Offense. If the seeding is done when the egirls game comes around we may sit a lot of players.. Not sure how I feel about that..

It wasn’t just Parsons. It was Greg’s and Dlaw too on that scoring drive. Wash made it look easy.

Pass rushers and Offensive Lineman are NFL gold.

Teams are obsessed with WRs and whatever else but if your lines aren’t good it doesn’t matter.

New York Football team have put on a clinic on how to not build a football team.

I don't like it but I understand it. 17 games is alot of wear and tear on the body. Thought it was just about right at 16 but ya know...money and stuff.

Don't really see any harm doing it when the games are out of reach or a series here and there for a breather but if they do it in the playoffs, that's a major problem. Need all hands on deck when the real bullets start flying.

/They didn't need him out there full time. Give him some rest. He will be running after the midget in the Cards backfield this next weekend and will see more time on the field. The coordinator is using his people wisely and trying some new things because this is the first time he has his full complement of weapons. Did you see the panic in the WFT when 11, 90 and 94 were out there at the same time? Hysterically funny. But why show the next teams what they will see a lot of in the final games of the year and in the playoffs. Use your people wisely. It had to be difficult trying to measure time of the field, resting the guys and ensuring leaving the game with no injuries when you are blowing the opposition right out of the water and there is still half a game to go!

56-14. I think it was OK for Parsons to be on the sidelines during the WFT beatdown.

No problem with it at all
No player can do what he does without taking some plays off
Fresh players are more effective

This was early in the 2nd quarter and Washington made it 21-7.

I could see it being at the end of the game, but the game was nowhere near over at that point.

Was this the drive when we were up 28-7 or the drive when it was 56-7?

This is almost as bad of a take as saying our defense is just as good without Dlaw/Gregory/Gallimore
