I Think Jalen Ramsey is Jealous of Diggs

I love Diggs and would probably take him over 95% of CBs in the NFL, but there's not a GM in the NFL that would take him over Ramsey.

We could have Diggs AND Ramsey right now. Imagine that.....

If we're going to play the what-if game, then it's a strong possibility that we would not have drafted Diggs if we had Ramsey.

Yeah I'm not sure Tre way on Ramsey's mind, but rather speaking to any DB being better than him. I don't think he is jealous of anyone by his talk. Diggs is getting better game by game, so in the near future this debate could be a lot different.

How about Diggs vs Hopkins, D. Smith, Cupp, Evans, D. Adams??? Diggs can still shoot to the top of CB talk even more by dominating these match-ups he may get in the playoffs.

Hopkins usually beats the breaks off Ramsey.

INTs, sacks, or forced fumbles are huge my dude. Anytime a defense gets one and gives the ball back to your offense, that's big time. I'm sure these are what I'll call "trigger stats" that are embedded in player's contracts. Meaning if they hit certain stat totals bonuses kick in, etc. They are important my dude.

Byron Jones was lockdown CB for us, but he wasn't a ball hawk, so Jerry let him walk.

And on the flip side, he's given up a lot of yards and 4 TDs

I'm not saying that's bad or nullifies the *eleven* INTs but that ranks him 6th out of the 8 pro bowl CBs

INTs are important, but sometimes a bad corner will still get 4-6 in a year, so by that standard they are over rated.

Well to be fair...if we drafted all those dudes I highly doubt we are in the position of drafting in the top 20 last year to get the best player of them all!

I scrolled through his feed but I'm struggling to find the Diggs connection. Maybe he was "referencing" comments in this tweet from RC that were saying Diggs is better, who knows.

Jalen restricted the comments to people he follows. I follow Diggs. Diggs retweeted it, that's how I saw it.

There's been talk about Diggs being the best CB in the league now that he's 3 picks away from tying an NFL record. Cowboys hating PFF (surprisingly) has Diggs as ther top graded CB this week. The hype is real. The implication of Jalen's tweet is about Diggs being the best now, which he refutes.

I love it that Diggs not only saw it but retweeted it as if to say I see you talking Jalen. Diggs got that dog in him too. I remember after picking off Jalen Hurts he told him not to throw his way no more. It was glorious. Brought a tear to my eye.

The number one stat directly related to winning is the turnover ratio. It's not just the 11 int's, it's the return yards and touchdowns that come with the 11 int's.

A player like Diggs means more to overall team success than Ramsey. Divide their amount of yardage given up by their int's and see what you come up with.

Diggs is better. Hands down.

The guy can be the best corner or safety in the NFL.

He’s the Micah Parsons of defensive backs. He can play anywhere.

Does he play safety in different packages?

Truthfully he thought he was being picked by the cowboys. When they skipped over him he’s been butthurt ever since. He said in an interview he’d never play for the joneses no matter how much they’d pay him.

basically it seems like sour grapes. I think he still is the best corner but to come out and say this is childish.

I forgot about that. I think that’s exactly what it is. He was probably hoping to be considered a major mistake by us, but instead we draft the guy who is in DPOY discussions and leading the league in interceptions in only his second season.
