The Manster. Second choice is Leroy Jordan.

Randy White wouldn’t be big enough to play in today’s game and Lee Roy Jordan wasn’t big enough or fast enough. You need a linebacker with size who could go sideline to sideline.

I'm trying to avoid the endless Dak debates, though I might just be fooling myself. So, you can't pick Staubach, Aikman or any other Cowboys quarterback. Aside from that, which past Cowboy player and his position would you team with this offense or defense.

Me? It's a tie between Charles Haley, Erik Williams, Larry Allen and Emmitt Smith.

I gotta go Emmitt Smith. His durability, reliability and productivity at the running back position would make us a better balanced team and even more dangerous offensively. I'm okay with the pass rush, and although I'd take an upgrade on the offensive line, I think we can get by with the line we have, provided Tyron Smith returns.
However, the lack of a running game concerns me. And I believe we'll have to lean more on that in the playoffs.

But that's my take. What's yours?
Larry Allen. Tyrone‘s durability seems to be an area of concern heading into the playoffs.

Mr. Emmitt Smith.

Larry Allen a very close second.

Honorable mention.... Troy Aikman.

Bullet Bob Hayes who has always been the fastest player ever to play pro football. A 10.06 on a dirt track assures that.

I would use him more in the running game being he was a running back in college.

I was going to include him too because we need more solidification in the middle of our defense. But Randy White was small by today's standards. However, if I compensate for his size and appropriated his size to today's DTs, then he would be a nasty addition to the middle of the Cowboys defense.

After some thought I think I’m going with Larry Allen. I would have to take Gregory or DLaw off the field and rotate them with DWare. Plus we didn’t win anything with DWare and we won a couple of Super Bowls with Larry Allen.

Offense: Larry Allen

Defense: Demarcus Ware. Imagine Ware, Parsons, Lawrence, and Gregory on 3rd and long having a race to the QB!

Football players can play in any era, just the position may be different. Randy White played bigger than his size. Even the bass at Lake Fork wanted no part of him in his tournament.
