#2 seed right now where we wouldn’t have to face both Rodgers and Brady. Rams are a very good team, but much rather take my chances seeing Stafford at home and then facing the winner of the TB GB contest. Yes, #1 seed is nice but this team needs to stay sharpe and have the best matchups

I agree completely here. 2 seed and these matchups isn’t terrible. We need the rams to win out. Obviously, we need to win out as well.

The bottom line is if the seeds hold serve in the wild card round the Cowboys will have the worst QB in the divisional round.

Rodgers Brady Stafford Prescott

One of these things is doing it's own thing.

I have a feeling the Rams lose a game and we get the third seed. Talking heads talk about the NFC East. The NFC South and North might be worse.

I hear ya but in recent times every time things play out favorably for us it doesn’t end well. I’m with you a 100% on avoiding TB or GB till the championship round but maybe the challenge of such a matchup would help us avoid a let down.

this is the case no matter what the seeds are. How do you suppose this won’t be the case?

Really hope we get the #1 seed. We have to win, but GB can absolutely lose to the Vikings. Hell, I think they can lose to the Lions.

i can’t make any case that the two seed is better than the one seed. That week of rest is huge, not to mention HF throughout. The biggest wildcard this year is Covid.

If we win out, this is the most likely outcome
If Lamar doesn’t play this week - it’s going to be hard for Baltimore to win. It also looks like Jimmy G has some health issues too. If SF can lock up a playoff spot on Sunday, he may not play week 18. And maybe they rest more guys

Hard to imagine that any Qb that gives sponsor donated sneakers to his teammates for Christmas can be considered the worst

Hear ya. I'll sign for the two right now.

Gotta root FOR the Rams, but only if we win also.

More complicated than usual.

NFC is really tough this year. a case can be made for any of the teams. GB, Dallas, Rams, TB, AZ (don't discount them).....they have been swapping places all year.

I still rather get the #1 seed, given our offense tends to play better at home and would rather have the other team travel.

I'm sorry I confused you.

If those 4 teams, which will be the 1-4 seeds regardless of the order, all win their wild card game...and one obviously gets a bye, then the Cowboys will be advancing with the worst QB remaining.

Which is normal when you pay a guy 40 million a year.

I'm all in on Dak, but I don't think you're wrong. Two of those guys are sure fire Hall of Fame QB's and still playing like it. The third could be considered for the HOF with a Superbowl. Stafford is a WAY better QB than most give him credit for. Dak hasn't done it yet. While I disagree with you about how good Dak is and can be, he hasn't done what those others have done yet. I'd say he's on the same trajectory as Stafford if he doesn't win in the post season. Dak absolutely needs to play well and help this team win a Superbowl. If he doesn't, he'll end up a footnote in history and nothing more.

We have a good D, no doubt, but so does Tampa and so do the Rams. Both of those teams have been in Championship games before, they know what it takes. This will be our first go at it in quite some time if we make it and i am not even sure we have players on the team that have been in a Championship level game to lean on. It will be a interesting and fun run to the SB, Let's Go Cowboys!
