Are you sure they haven't done this already? It's probably not something they'd announce to the public.[/QUOTE

Honestly I'm not sure of anything other than I keep seeing situations where the referees are making bad calls in favor of the Packers and it's not just with our team.

I feel it's bad for the game and it hurts the whole league

Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Detroit last year? Those are just the few off the top of my head. I'm aware of some of these games. Still, they have to put something very good together to not come off looking like maniacs.

They have had multiple crazy bad refereeing games at Lambeau over the last few years. That's all it takes sometimes. There's always going to be people that think the successful are cheating.

But I will say one thing. If a ref wanted to get involved, roughing the passer would be it. Anything can be roughing the passer.

yes we saw that against the Raiders, when Carr left the pocket as a runner and we got called for roughing and Tony called it out that Carr was a runner and not a pocket passer at that point.

If for some reason we have to play Green Bay at lambeau Field Jerry needs to get all the information and head to the league office with the proof of the poor officiating at lambeau Field
He needs to have guys researching this now and go plead his case long before the game because it is a real problem.
It doesn't matter how good our offense is if it's constantly crippled with holding penalties and the Packers are allowed to hold at will it will negate our powerful pass rush
Thoughts
After the Raider robbery it was reported Jerry and company had a meeting with the league. IMO Jerry may well have handed over the check then....LOL. All I know is this,.....since that meeting took place,....our games have been called pretty fairly. Who knows what REALLY happened,.....I just know something did because it has been like night and day since.

I agree Mike gives us an edge on what the Packers do in this situation but I think it has to go higher than the head coach in my opinion this is a problem ownership needs to get involved in because it's not just preferential treatment against our team as we saw with the browns the other day

This kind of officiating hurts the whole game and Jerry needs to send somebody to the league office with a highlight film of all the bad calls and just make them aware that he wants a fairly called game and won't tolerate anything less.

Jerry isn't getting any younger and really doesn't have time to squander a playoff run to bad officiating and if I was him and had his power in the league along with the other owners I would get this situation squared away at lambeau Field before it's too late
Jerry is all talk no action. He only really sees the Cash the Cowboys and NFL produces. If he says anything he undermines the integrity of NFL. That would affect his bottom line.

Good idea. Another thing to get ahead of is this cold weather issue at GB. Maybe Jerry has some contact with the intel community, They have those hidden sites that control the weather. ;)

The owners are all about protect the shield at all costs, how will doing that support their cause?

This perception that the refs and the league have it in for Dallas and love Green Bay and Rodgers is only held by Dallas fans. Rodgers embarrassed the league and they are not going to help him.

The officiating needs to be addressed in all of the stadiums because it is sub-standard and the inconsistencies are evident. When announcers state they like working a certain crew's games because they are not flag happy, the bell has been sounded. The statement "looks like they're going to let them play" is ridiculous. We are watching them to see them play.

But let's put the blame where it belongs. In their effort to increase the scoring and star quality of the game, the owners passed rules which place the burden on the officials and if they really called every foul I've seen, I would no longer be watching.

What amazes me are the missed facemask and headshot calls on the QB, I've seen a dozen of them and they are supposed to have eyes on that position at all times.

Average mid day temp in Green Bay for the first week of Feb is about 15 degrees or so. Could be anywhere between 8 and low 20's, thats the average. Hopefully there wouldnt be much if any wind chill, THAT is the real game changer. 15 isnt all that bad. Ive worked in it outside MANY times in my younger years. Then again,....15 isnt all that great either. :D Like I say , the big thing is wind chill. You get the right wind chill and 15 above feels like 10 below zero pretty easily. I live about 2.5 hours from Green Bay.

The weather up here that time of year is just.....could be just fine, could easily be almost unbearable. I have many times seen it be 20 below zero and by the time you add in wind chill you are looking at -40 below zero. Your lungs feel like you are inhaling FIRE when it is that cold. Oh,.....and just for a little added fun it could also be a damn blizzard at any given time. The good news is it is not often that you get snow and stifling cold at the same time. Normally a one or the other.

Well that's good to hear I'm sure Jerry knows that at his age he really can't squander any chances in the playoffs if he wants another super bowl win

In my opinion we have everything we need to go deep into the playoffs but there are a few things that can derail us injury, covid, and poor officiating The last two we can at least try to get a leg up on and prepare for

If the officiating issue had been corrected long ago the cold weather issue probably wouldn't be even a factor because we wouldn't be going to Green Bay they would be coming here

I know was there for work about an hour from Green Bay in Merrill WI for 2 weeks of training in Jan and again in Feb of 2015. The 2 weeks in Feb was BRUTAL! We had to work out in it one day at 34 below 0. Everyday the last week was below 0 except one day it was 7 degrees and people in WI was acting like it was 50 that day. Could not wait to get back to NC.
