He has one game over 50 yards since the broncos game where he went for 51.

He hasn't had a game over 55 yards since new England in week 6. Week 6!

He's got the largest total contract by a running back by about 15 million. Second highest average rate per year behind McCaffrey.

I know this team has other issues but I was wondering everyones thought on this.

Is this team better off releasing Zeke in the off-season (even if they can't really save any money on the cap)? He has nothing left in the tank.

Zeke just isn’t healthy.

He’s not going to live up to that contract, but he’s not as bad as he’s showing right now. Earlier this year he was downright fantastic— still a top 10 guy for sure at that point.

My issue is that he clearly should not be the guy right now, but for whatever reason he is.

I mean dudes only getting 9 carries a game

some games Emmitt would have 9 carries for 20 yards then later it would be 25 carries for 95-100

you gotta stick with the run

This felt a lot like when Garrett was coaching. Not sticking with the run to balance things out.

12 runs doesn't cut it.
Lol…why would you stick with a guy that gets 2 or 3 yards?

you guys are hilarious. Zeke sucks. And the dropped passes? Can’t even throw him the ball.

Zeke got paid and now is making business decisions and I don’t blame him. One bad tackle, and he is out of the league.

Once I saw that big hole in the outside and going against two cardinal players, he was looking to get tackled. That is when I knew, he is only a short yard workhorse back at best now.

Even last week not enough carries. What is really going on?

They have made us all forget about Pollard and we’re back to watching Zeke destroy our offense with his lack of big plays.

Whatever you think Zeke currently provides is not worth it compared to Pollard explosive play ability.

Teams dare us to run and Zeke ain’t up to it.

I agree Zeke is finished. He has been finished. But we have these so called elite WRs that can’t get open against backup corners. Every play they just run down the field its amazing. Kellen is so bad. It makes me laugh when they say he might get a head coaching job.

Our O-line is just awful and there is no way we can fix it this year. Cardinals had the ball for 35-25 minutes over us. Not sure how we win a playoff game this year.

That wasn't my point, they didn't run it enough. He had a couple nice runs. Pollard didn't get any either and that's a problem.

He's done as a big time TB, unfortunately. Emotion got in the way of a sound financial/football decision by Jerry. If only he had listened to the 2015 Jerry that wisely let Murray walk instead of paying him what Philly ended up paying him.

Zeke needs 85 yards next game to hit 1000 yards, if he doesn't then he'll have 3 out of 6 seasons where he hasn't hit the 1000 yard mark, and with what Dallas is paying him, barely hitting 1000 yards is horrible

LOL Yes but jerry likes him so.........
He had a 1.1 avg per carry today, that isnt real bad is it?:D
I think the problem is the nose rings, they weigh him down.
