To win the big game you first have to make it there, so no

Its not an issue of if Dak can win it

We're going as far as our pass rush is going to take us

Playoffs is a different animal.....youre not winning crap without the Pass Rush

a running game some where along the way sure would help.

Dak is going to win a super bowl...its only a matter of when.

Question to a question. Can we win a Big game with McCarthy? Can we win a Big game with Moore? Can we win a Big game with this defense and Oline? Answer these questions also.

Nope. He's going to have to flip the script quick to change that cold hard truth.

It doesn’t appear we’re going to get it done with Dak in a big game this year. He wasn’t terrible today but he’s still making too many bad throws. With his problems, the lack of running game along with the inconsistency with the defense we’re not going anywhere in the playoffs. Hopefully Dak will be able to figure out what went wrong during the offseason. It just doesn’t look like he’s going to get his game back for the playoffs. This team is still a year away if we’re able to build off this season and Dak bounces back next season. I hate to sound like it’s over for us but it doesn’t look good. I didn’t like what I saw from the offense or defense today.

Yes, so long as he plays at the level we've seen him play at seven days ago. And the line blocks. And the running backs produce. And the defense makes plays.

Football is complementary game. While it's fair to criticize Dak for having bad games, it's not fair to make every loss all about him.

The list of Super Bowl winning quarterbacks since 2000 includes Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Eli Manning, Joe Flacco, and Nick Foles. So please let's not say Dak Prescott can't.

Dak is 5-0 against the NFC East this season

Dak is 5-5 against everyone else

Dak for his career is 24-6 against the NFC East

Dak for his career is 28-25 against everyone else

The TEAM is all of those things, not just Dak, but lazy analysis is easy.

With no running game and a defense that lives and dies off turnovers, Dak isn't going to carry them. No QB wins by himself, despite narratives to the contrary.

The Cowboys, not just Dak, are not a championship team. He's part of it, but he's not alone.

If the defense plays at an elite level and team finds the run game then it’s possible. Dak having to carry, no.

agreed but while I do think the d is good… I think it’s clear after today it isn’t elite. That means the offense is gonna have to do it’s thing as well if we wanna win games.

Honestly I think thing really depend on the playoffs. We get bounced I the first round and dak is bad… then your bringing this team back next year…. But if it’s the same old story…. You’d really have to consider drafting a young qb. Dak would have 2 years left at that point.

It’s why I’m kinda glad we gave him a 4 year deal instead of 5.

None of those QBs listed was taking 20%+ of the team cap. They didn't HAVE to carry those teams. Dak demanded that money, Jerry paid that money, Dak is not living up to that contract but is playing like those mediocre QBs you listed.

I was just thinking about this, literally. I was wondering when the “Dak can’t win big games” label was going to get attached.

I’m not one of the Dak bashers, but if I’m honest, I can’t even defend him at this point.

I was excited and confident for this game. I really thought that it was just a slump he was in, but it seems like it’s deeper than that. It’s mental with him right now, he’s in his own head and his confidence is shot. He plays scared and takes the check down way too often. He’s clearly not getting a good read on defenses because there isn’t much success with the plays he’s changing to at the LOS.

Yes they can win with Dak. The team took the week off I wouldn’t worry about it too much they prob didn’t even prepare for Ariz. Plus it’s gonna be the defense and Dak that carry the team the next few years. I’m more worried about losing Cooper, Gallup, the Oline in general, replacing Lawrence, upgrading LVE, upgrading the safeties (clearly today Buddy Baker should have been drafted ahead of Malik Hooker), and whose the next mid round Julius Jones type RB.
