And run right at them. I have never understood why teams are able to get away with this nonsense. When I was coaching and teams would try it against my offense to try and confuse my blocking schemes and my QB I had automatics built in to fire off into the upstanding idiots and knock their ***** off the ball. I cannot for the life of me figure out why in the NFL, when you have 330 pound guys poised to pounce and explode into people you don't just do it in these situations. If someone has a good explanation for why more teams don't go ham on defenses doing that crap I'd like to hear it.

I actually have asked myself the exact same questions many times. I have no idea why either.

It drives me nuts man.. The defensive line is literally surrendering any sort of leverage they might have. If you get a hat on a hat you could push them 15 yards downfield. Yet time after time we watch teams get away with it. Not just the Cowboys.. they do it to a LOT of teams.. and I shake my head every time I see it.. I mean I get it if it's 3rd and long.. but if they do it on first or second down I am drive blocking them into next week.. Guarantee you that will put a stop to it.

Well the QB could signal to hike the ball but he's probably too busy trying to think about what the defense is doing, maybe changing the play? To answer basically the OL is waiting on Dak. And your right once they crowd they should fire off atleast they'd have less time to get back into coverage and maybe we can beat them to the punch.

Moore and Dak need to get a handle on what to do against that look and quickly. Dak needs to quit playing cat and mouse with the defense and start playing pimp vs ho and just *****slap the defense every time they do it. Get up under center.. tell the line to knock them into next week and have Zeke hit it into the line at 100 mph.. See how that works.

Lol.

Ever notice when we start using more pre snap motion we get into more of a rhythm? Couple fake handoffs and we get some 1st downs? Same reason the hurry up works, keeps defenses honest. Moore waits too long to call these things. It narrows Daks scope but helps him play faster and that's what they need to do. He's better when he can just see it and rip.

since we like receiving the ball first, should throw them off rhythm by going no huddle right off the bat. I was coming home from the holidays trip and knew when we had to punt first series told my wife this is not going to be a good game.

I honestly never paid much attention to all the presnap motion until it was absent yesterday. It really stuck out how often we just broke the huddle, lined up and stayed in whatever formation we broke the huddle with. I was like "why are we not trying to get the defense to show its hand?" It was maddening to watch.. It was also maddening to watch the number of times in short yardage we lined up with an overload to one side then tried to run to that side only to see at least one of our linemen get completely blown up and the play along with it. This offensive line issue is not going away..

..you would think MM already knows this. That's the perplexing part. Danny McCray and Barry Church talked about this on thier program.

Sometimes I think these coaches get too caught up in trying to prove how smart they are. Moore has an annoying tendency to get too cute at the most inopportune times. It looks like genius when it works.. but better DCs make it look like "Harry High School."
