I like the players but don’t understand the internal personnel moves…Collins is a better OT than Steele and OT is a more premium position than OG so I wouldn’t move Collins. Be much better to draft a mid an OG to develop and spend the draft capital elsewhere if you want to replace Williams.

That aside…love pairing Parsons up with Dean.

Larry Allen was the best OG, OT and C on every OL he ever played on. He played LG. Steele would start on a lot of teams in the league and he will get better. We have limited cap spaces and resources. We don’t need to waste a pick on a LG. Smith, Collins, Biadasz, Martin and Steele are our top 5 OL.

But you’re assuming Collins will move to Guard and be good…he wasn’t his 1st 2 seasons there.

His PFf grades were under 60s or less both years. His last full year being healthy at RT he was the 3rd highest grades RT.

Where is Diggs rated amongst CB’s according to PFF?

Swap 2 with the Phidarin Mathis
And 3 with menchie ll that would be ideal.

Honestly I would try and move Collins Brown and Lewis for more picks move from the first round to the second and get Christian Harris

He’s ranked 80th. So you think there are 79 CB’s better than him in the NFL?

Not necessarily, but I do think he’s vastly overrated by Cowboys fans.

PFF can be flawed at times, but I think it can be a helpful piece of the puzzle.I also watch just about every snap of every game.

What are you basing your assessment on?

We lose a lot of games because of Diggs don’t we?

Nope, it’s the opposite. We’ve won a lot of games because of his playmaking ability.

I love turnovers, but when you evaluate a CB on INTs only it’s a terrible way to evaluate. Kinda like evaluating a LBr on tackles or a pass rusher on sacks only it’s an incredibly narrow way to look at it.

Diggs is a good player that has exceptional ball skills but he gives up a lot of yards…and by a lot I literally mean the most in the NFL.

Whatever he is giving up isn’t having an impact on the outcomes of games. His turnovers are.

Name the game Diggs yards he allowed cost us…

Diggs turnovers have won us games. His yards given up have done squat for our opponents.

We lose games mostly because of inept offense. Not Trevon Diggs.

Unless you have the actual plays and numbers (yards) you don't actually know that one way or the other.

Just as a data point, he's given up 4 TDs (per Pro-Football-Reference). What we don't know is during the games when he's given up "big plays," did it directly lead to points for the other team? For instance, against the Cards he gave up a 42-yarder that led to a FG (we lost by 3). That's just one example.

Yeah.. He didn’t cost us the Cards game though. Being inept on offense for nearly the whole game did that.

So are you 100% sure that all of the yards he has given up all season have led to 0 points?

Wow

Wow

I am 100% sure we aren’t losing games because of Trevon Diggs and if you’d like to show me the games he’s cost us I’d love to have a look.

No team loses games because of 1 player…but he’s given up a ton of yards and yards lead to points. Giving up points can lead to Ls.
