Missing Parsons won’t be the story tonight, not when it’s also Diggs, Brown, Kearse, and maybe Wilson.
And you saying Heineke is a backup but Dak wasn't because Dak eventually became a starter is ridiculous. Dak was a 3rd string rookie QB. Nobody knew how it was going to turn out for him. Had Romo recovered from his injury earlier, Romo would have been the starter and Dak would have been back on the bench. There was even talk of Romo getting his job back had he not made his speech.
To say Heineke was a backup when he played us is a big reach. He started since week 2. He started 12 games before playing us.
Agreed. At the start of the season I believed that we'd go as far as defense can take us. I still believe that. It’s not real good that a part-time edge rusher is our leading sacker. If our offense continues to sputter we better hope we find a pass rush in the playoffs.

I have faith in our offense. They're not going to shred nfl defenses and certainly not in the playoffs. In the playoffs games get defensive and we've got to be able to play that type of game. The defense won’t get us very far if we don’t pick it up on offense. The defense is far from great. We’ve won games because of takeaways. If we don’t get takeaways we usually lose. Our offense has to get on track.
Dak became our full time starter during his rookie season. We moved on from Romo later that season. Taylor Heinicke is a career backup who only continue to start for Washington because their starter who's a journeyman was lost for the season. It doesn’t matter where Dak started on the depth chart he ended up our starter and developed into a franchise QB. Plain and simple Taylor Heinicke is a backup QB. Washington had no choice. Some think Kyle Allen is better than Heinicke but he’s had injuries.

Revisionist history. Romo didn’t even get the opportunity to compete for the job because of the red-headed stepchild. Romo didn’t “lose” the job. The idiotic organization made one of the dumbest decisions in the history of the game believing in a fantasy that a rookie QB could take the team to a Super Bowl and gave them the best chance at winning. Dak played great (for a rookie), but he wasn’t the main reason the team was winning, nor did it mean that Romo couldn’t play better. Romo relinquished the job because he’s a class act. He was released because of his injury history and because the same mismanaged organization that hasn’t won anything now in over twenty five years believed the future was Dak, except his rookie year happened to be his best year so far.Not really. After Romo recovered from his injury and was ready to play he never got his job back because Dak won the job due to his outstanding play. Romo ended up having to hold a press conference and relinquish his job. He was released during the offseason.
Yes sir, let's go.Want to see the young DB’s. Mukuamu, Joseph, Wright, heck even Coyle. Let’s see how they do in a hostile environment.
He’s playing limited if any snaps at allGet ready to watch hurts tuck the ball and extend plays and drives. Gonna be a frustrating watch I think
Doubt Philly passes much. We’ve not shown a lot run stopping prowess when it matters. And with Micah out, whoever Philly plays at QB is likely to get some massive gains on scrambles.Want to see the young DB’s. Mukuamu, Joseph, Wright, heck even Coyle. Let’s see how they do in a hostile environment.
With no running game we’re going to be in real trouble. With Dak not being real sharp we can’t be putting games on his shoulders. We have to get some resemblance of a running game going and we have to continue to get takeaways on defense. We continue having issues making critical stops on defense.
Calling somebody who started 12 games when they played us backup shows you how much you know about this game. Heinicke was coming off of a 4 game winning streak that include beating TB. He is much of a backup as Dak was in 2016. In other words, Heinicke isn't a backup this season, and Dak wasn't a backup in 2016.
