Yea good stuff. Started pounding water after Hardy scored that last one.

I also have a side of applewood smoked bacon for tomorrow morning that should help. Seems to help

Couldn't ask for more. Always a tough spot.. not a lot to play for and the opposition had even less. Can't read too much into the scoreline or stats but it was better than a loss, which would have been a disaster.

Did like featuring the running game.. they wanted Zeke to get the 1000.. which means they KNOW they can run the ball. Interesting that they also got Dak to the TD milestone. So they were all stat chasing. This actually gives me a glimmer of hope that they have been holding back a little in the last part of the season once they felt confident of playoffs. I don't know but I want to have hope.

Dak threw high and behind to start the game before really hit stride. He is a flat out confidence player.. so hopefully he feels great. I'm not his biggest fan.. but he is OUR QB and if we want to go on a deep run (and we all want that) then we need him playing at his best.

Hopefully Gregory getting pulled was just a little bump and nothing more and we have a full squad to choose from next week.

No negatives from the game.. and no 'big' injuries at this stage.. so roll on playoffs and we are going to find out exactly what this team is made of.

*PS.. Parsons IS this defence.
Missed Parsons

I live in PA, about an hour north of Philly and Im loving the crying on the Philly news...even though they keep saying it was backups against starters. Whatev!

Along with McCarthy, I don't know why some choose to use this game or overall numbers to make light of Dak being in a slump. You can look at the games since he reinjured the ankle and tell he's not playing as well as he was the first part of the season. A slump doesn't mean he's playing poorly, just not up to the standard he had established.

Did anyone notice if the offense was running different route concepts this week?

Noticed a lot of quick throws to the flats and out routes

Seemed like we used picks a little bit more than we had been.

It's funny. Last year we basically played backups vs starters all year.

Dak and practically the whole OL was out. You play who is in front of you.

It's not like we had all our starters out there. No Parsons, Diggs, Kearse, Tyron...Those are marquee names that weren't seen on the field.

Agreed. We don't know how next week will go, so even in what might be a meaningless game, I'll gladly take this result and enjoy it for a bit.
Did well considering the offense (and defense) were fairly vanilla tonight

It's not surprising since playing PHI is a possibility next week

Offense was plain: No roll outs, no screens, no RPO, Really nothing deep. Kept it simple but executed well.

I can't recall seeing the defense blitz Minshew. It looked like they got decent pressure with just DL

BTW, DLaw playing inside can really push those RGs around

I don't care if we were playing scrubs. We smacked the scrubs, like we were supposed to...not so much on defense. It feels a heck of a lot better to blast your hated rival than to lose. And most importantly, we played pretty well in a cold weather game.
