I wanted Zeke to rest against the Eagles and was not happy to see him start..... Then I became more ticked off to see him in there in the 3rd quarter.... When I found out he was still in there in order to reach the 1000yd/year mark I became outraged.... Seriously!! To me, a player putting himself in a position to risk further injury is Selfish and not good for overall team culture. Is it just me or does that seem selfish and individual goal minded/short sighted?? I still think the organization has a culture problem.

Destroying the Eagles B team will give us huge momentum this week though. Winners mentality or something.

Don't get too worked up about it. It wasn't Zeke forcing his way onto the field. McCarthy was comfortable with him playing. But whether you want to debate the meaninglessness of 1,000 yards in a 17-game season is another thing.

Was you mad that we were throwing passes on 1st and 2nd down inside the 5 yard line just to get Dak a record?

Does that seem selfish/short sighted to you also?

Dak played 3/4 of the game just to get a record against a practice squad roster too ya know?

Yep blame zeke for not wanting to sit and had they lost we would be 4th seed. But put it all on Zeke. Dak didn't do it Coop, Cee Dee, Martin most of the Defense !. But let's blame zeke...we get it YOU don't like him blah blah

Also don't see you calling out Dak for being in there in the 3rd to get that 37th td

Meh.. Zeke and the team didn't alter their thinking and approach to your whims.. How dare they..

Well you always claimed that Zeke didnt come out because he had heart and grit. Now you know the real reason he refused to take games off.

I enjoy seeing players reach milestones, but I don’t care either way.

I care about being ready for Sunday against the 49ers. If Zeke not resting leads to him not being at 100% then I’ll be a little upset, but we have Pollard so we shouldn’t be depending on Zeke 100% anyway.

Yea he should of rested 6 weeks ago. Dak on the other hand, those receivers and him needed more time to gel, good practice for them.

Yes I was also mad about Dak being in there late in the game still...don't get me started... That could be another thread titled "Dak stay in game late to beat Romo's TD record"... I see you get my point about how this organization will risk health of players to achieve "individual awards/records".... I think its very selfish...

We destroyed there "A" team earlier in the year. Now they are all chewed up and spit out should we face them again.

I don't like it.

Sure, it was fun and all blowing out the Eagles, but I feel like they were trying to get milestones against a practice defense more than they were trying to build momentum.

Hopefully it worked, but we'll see Sunday.

I see nothing wrong with it. Other players around the league did the same thing. Brady did not want to come out because Gronk was close to a record. GB did the same thing. These guys work their butts off and no it is not selfish for them to try to achieve goals. What is outrageous is how outraged people are every fricken weekend.

It's an ego thing...he knows that's how running backs are judged...and after playing days...write ups always say...10 years, 10k yard, 5 1k yard seasons, etc etc

A RB can rush for 999 yds every year for 10 years and will be relegated to the lower tier just because never rushing for 1k.

Go Cowboys!
