Dak against top 10 defenses

The Bucs finished 5th in scoring but 13th in yards. And yes he lit them up.. 403 yards 3 TD and 1 INT..

The Denver game was on the coaches.. they held him out of mechanics/technique work that week and it showed.. Then against KC Coop practices all week but tests positive on Friday.. and then CD gets hurt just before half.. That was pretty much the ballgame there.. because you know.. being down 10 points meant Moore wasn't going to run the ball any more and the Cowboys were down the Wilson, Brown and Turner as their primary receivers.. Those guys are nice complementary receivers.. but aint no lead dog in that group.. Maybe Turner is he learns.. but he needs another year of seasoning.

Tyron Smith wasn't playing either. Laél was just coming back from suspension. We were in 1 of the toughest places to play. Randy Gregory, DLaw and Gallimore were not in the game. Zeke started showing the wear and tear. Chris Jones had his best NFL game ever I am sure. We still held Pat Mahomes to 19 points. We just scored 9.

In a typical game both teams get 11-12 possessions and run 65-70 snaps. The Cards had 72 snaps while the Cowboys had 56. Also keep in mind that Zeurlein missed an easy FG early in that game too. That game should have been 10-10 at the half and if the defense gets a stop before the half and to start the second half the Cowboys get the ball with a chance to take the lead and control. Instead the defense gives up an easy FG at the end of the half and a long TD drive to start the second.. So instead of 10-10 or even 13-10 the Cowboys get the ball down 19-7 and Moore in panic mode.. Because we both know he panics any time they're not ahead by two scores.. He called pretty much nothing but pass plays the entire second half and hung his o-line and his QB out to dry.. If he does that in the playoffs we will be one and done.. No balance = no chance.

You can't just give a pass to the offense. They had exactly 1 less drive opportunity than the Cards. They were responsible for 3, 3 and outs, and a 3 play drive ending in a fumble by the QB. They put together a good drive on any one of those, and it evens out the drive count, the snap count and the TOP.

Moore called the Dak fumble on the Cowboys first play of the second half? Moore didn't connect on the short pass to Cooper on 2nd and ten? The offense had the opportunity to eat clock and put up points and make it a 5 point game on the opening drive of the second half. It is on them for failing.

Can you confirm that Dak does not have the option to audible pass/run at the line? That seems unlikely. If it is true than it is downright disturbing for a six year vet paid at the top of his profession.

Carolina was very early in the season and they were paper champions and Philly was against their backups.

He and his offensive buds topped 40 points 5 times and topped 50 twice.. They were held under 20 points.. twice.. TWO whole games they didn't get to 20.. How does that stack up against other top QBs..

BRady was held under 20 3 times including one shutout..

Reg season is done. This is where Dak and this team need to earn the money. I was happy with the 12-5 season. I had predicted 11 to 12 wins on reg season. I fully expected to hit a bump in the road at some point in the season and that too happened.

Dallas did what they needed to do in the reg season. Now is where you have a real chance to make a name for yourself and prove you are a top team in this league.

I look forward to it.

Agreed. Most would have been happy to take 12 wins and fast forward to the playoffs if that was an option in the preseason.

Im happy with the season. You tend to win a few and lose a few you shouldn’t. It tends to even out.

Dak is paid $40M per year to start carrying this team to a SB. It starts now. Go earn that $40M per year dollar man title Dak.

It doesn't really matter how the game goes.. if the Cowboys lose the soft heads will heap the blame on Dak.. he can throw for 400 yards and 4 TDs but if the Cowboys lose 42-35 the fans will claim it was Dak who lost the game.. You know how this work.. So does Dak.. I think he will be fine..

Yeah. These guys who move the goal posts and make excuses for other teams are not worth a reply. Some of them have the IQ and emotional intelligence of krill.

Having said that, Dak needs to man up and go win a SB title this year. We are in win now mode.
