Agreed. Most would have been happy to take 12 wins and fast forward to the playoffs if that was an option in the preseason.
Im happy with the season. You tend to win a few and lose a few you shouldn’t. It tends to even out.
Dak is paid $40M per year to start carrying this team to a SB. It starts now. Go earn that $40M per year dollar man title Dak.
Agreed. But the chances of getting there is low if Dak lays an egg. Hard to overcome that.I agree Dak has to play good ball but to get to where they want to be, guys on this team need to step up and play quality football or else they will not make it. Dak has to do his part but what I see with every championship team several players step up and make big plays be it offense or defense.

#2 Carolina - 130.3 passer rating W
#4 New England - 108.7 passer rating W
#7 New Orleans - 79.7 passer rating W
#8 Broncos - 73.9 L
#10 Philly - game 1 143.3 W
game 2 151.8 W
Hmmm.. 5-1 with a cumulative passer rating in the 115 (114.6) range.. 18 TD 3 INT.
What was this I keep hearing about how he "struggles against good defenses?"
I agree with this to a point - Dak can be inconsistent at times. But, I watched Mahomes last week and he was incredibly inconsistent as well - some of his throws were amazing and some were terrible. I know both QBs are paid incredibly well, and expectations should be high. But, these guys are human. I personally like Dak a lot and agree he's more than capable of helping us win a title. I don't think he's perfect, but I sure as he!! will be rooting for him and every Cowboy player and coach during the playoffs. I think we all agree, right...? We're all rooting for the Cowboys to win every week.
I think Dak's numbers against good defenses are probably proportional to the OLs performance against top defenses. When they give Dak a pocket his plays well. When he is under constant duress, he plays poorly - like any other QB.
But including the 2nd Eagles game is not really fair. That defense Dak saw would not be a top 10 defense under any circumstances. It was a bunch bunch of backups and some practice squad players.
In a typical game both teams get 11-12 possessions and run 65-70 snaps. The Cards had 72 snaps while the Cowboys had 56. Also keep in mind that Zeurlein missed an easy FG early in that game too. That game should have been 10-10 at the half and if the defense gets a stop before the half and to start the second half the Cowboys get the ball with a chance to take the lead and control. Instead the defense gives up an easy FG at the end of the half and a long TD drive to start the second.. So instead of 10-10 or even 13-10 the Cowboys get the ball down 19-7 and Moore in panic mode.. Because we both know he panics any time they're not ahead by two scores.. He called pretty much nothing but pass plays the entire second half and hung his o-line and his QB out to dry.. If he does that in the playoffs we will be one and done.. No balance = no chance.
Again you fail to admit that the run game simply wasnt working. And when we say NOT working, literally not working. 1.8 ypc is a complete joke.
So your notion that he panicked or that we somehow should have continued to run nowhere is laughable. It was the passing game that got us back into the game.
Only time in 9 weeks the run game actually looked good was Saturday against 2nd stringers in Philly.
Despite what you continue to preach, the run game is as bad as it gets and to continue to rely on it will get us punted out of the playoffs as quickly as featuring Zeke gets us a 3 and out punt.
Until Zeke is no longer getting most of the carries or until the Oline becomes dominant, passing to open up the run is the way things need to go.
When the run game starts holding up their end, then we will see balance. Until then featuring the passing game is all we can do.
Tell us how Dak will do vs the 49ers. If you have to defend a player every week he has flaws period...anybody have to defend Parsons, nope. Beat the 49ers keep the stats.
So when he does poorly against bad defenses.. what does that mean?
That's a lotta words top say "blah blah blah.."
Means he had a bad game.. Fortunately for us he doesn't have a lot of those..
Read it again- Just game 1 against PhillyLOL, the fact you include that 2nd Philly game knowing that they didn't play one starter that resulted in a Top 10 defense is so RonnieT, you just have to laugh.
So when Zeke has a poor game it means he did poorly?
