Everyone is so quick to point out that we won 6 games vs the NFC east... (mind you the eagles are a playoff team...)

But no one points out the 9ers wins...

Here is who the beat this year.
Lions
Eagles (week 2)
Bears
Jags
Vikes
Falcons
Texans
Bengals in OT
and the Rams twice (who they have owned under Mcvay)

That's a who's who of bad NFL teams. The Bengals and Rams are good, but the Bengals have proven to be very up and down.

Go watch the bengals game highlights. Bengals bungled that game from the start with two muffed punts giving the niners the ball on their 10 yard line, and even with that they went to OT.

Pretty sure the games played prior to Sunday's game will have no impact on Sunday's outcome. But that's just me.
for neither side you are correct but fans like dragging in narratives like the kjj guy always stepping all over posts claiming he knows so much and we should be scored because of past games LMAO./

its 0-0 play the game find out whos better and why.

Yup and if you are a sound football team those are the types of teams you beat.

No idea why the Rams suck so bad versus SF or a few other teams but that's the only outlier.
Bengals win in OT came with the benefit of a +2 in turnovers.

SF is a sound football team but they are not nearly as talented as Dallas.
And a win regardless of what some cornballs are projecting would be a farily large upset.

Recency bias. To the media, Dallas started hot, struggled, then beat WFT and Philly to “get right”. Therefore— they are not “hot”.

SF started slow and struggled— then got “hot” and “finished strong.”

The most recent success is what is foremost in people’s minds.

Confirmation bias also plays a factor. People see what they want to see— despite facts and data. SF is “physical” and “power running team” despite having very similar stats to Dallas’ run game for the season.

Yet Dallas “struggles” to run the ball and is “not physical”. At the end of the day— throw out the records, throw out the stats. Whoever wants it more and out-hits the other team (and makes fewer mistakes) will win.

My money is on Dak and Co.

No side bar needed in that explanation...

They lost to the Seahawks twice and Colt McCoy led AZ without Hopkins.
People keep saying they play in the toughest division, and we play in an easiest division, yet they don't mention they are 2-4 in their division, and we are 6-0.

Who cares if they play in the toughest division when they only won 2 games against one team in their division. Seahawks are 3-3 in the same division. Does that make Seahawks a good team?

They beat the Rams and Cincinnati both teams are better than any of the teams the Cowboys have beaten this season. Before someone brings up New England they were 2-3 when we beat them.

This is exactly right. We went 5-1 down the stretch. And GMFB was saying this EXACT same thing...who did we play...
When before they were giving us props. As I said in another post, it seems they were reading posts right toff of this forum.

GMFB was always up and down on who they follow. But ever since Nate Burleson left, it has been worse.

You gotta beat the best if you want the SB. So its a mute point IMO. Unless the Cowboys are looking to squeek into the SB and win it by luck

I just think saying your playoff opponent "isn't good" is dumb as can be.

If we lose then we lost to a bad team and if we win then we beat a bad team.

Dumb.

I will watch the game and see how we play. Good, Great, Flat, horrible, decent, but also the same goes for SF.
Or will it just be a hard fought good game from both teams.
Not sure who all is saying SF is not a good team. I go by they are a good team to make the playoffs. Anything can happen.

I just know if we lose the usuals will be thumping...I told you so...crap.
If we win, then they will say, well, we should have won but now we have to TB to play.

Well, I'm seeing a lot of post trying to convince people that the 49ers aren't very good. So if we win and people say we beat a bad team then we can only blame the ones trying to convince people right now that the 49ers aren't a good team for fanning that fire.
