Last week of the season is super weird too. I was watching both games and the Cardinals announcers were talking about the Rams game as much as their own. Emotion is such a huge part of the game and I wonder if there's a connection between the Rams collapse and their understanding that they had just won the division.

Good point, Could Rams have master planned this , if they were the 3rd seed , they would have to play 6th seed , which would be saints? Instead they preferred to play Cardinals ?
Conspiracy theory starter , …. LOL

Everyone is so quick to point out that we won 6 games vs the NFC east... (mind you the eagles are a playoff team...)

But no one points out the 9ers wins...

Here is who the beat this year.
Lions
Eagles (week 2)
Bears
Jags
Vikes
Falcons
Texans
Bengals in OT
and the Rams twice (who they have owned under Mcvay)

That's a who's who of bad NFL teams. The Bengals and Rams are good, but the Bengals have proven to be very up and down.
So lets remove the Eagles because, well, they suck.

Whats left is they have 3 other wins vs playoff teams and we have 1
We’re in no position the be talking about quality wins.

Everybody wants to talk about us being undefeated in our division as if it’s bad and/or easy thing to beat 3 teams who know you best twice in the same season.

I would rather have the Vikings, Bears and Lions or the Panthers, Saints and Falcons. Funny how those divisions never get brought up and used against the top quarterbacks in each. Also, there wasn’t a single team in either division who went undefeated.

The media does it for ratings. They’re going to find anything to try and pick at the Cowboys

Before you critic the neighbor's house you need to look at your own.....

We have 1(Pats) win vs a playoff team this season.......

They beat the Rams and Cincinnati both teams are better than any of the teams the Cowboys have beaten this season. Before someone brings up New England they were 2-3 when we beat them.

They were and then they won 7 straight. 9ers beat 3 playoff teams. We beat 2, and should've been 3 before the Chargers coach lost his mind.

I'm not claiming we should be bragging about our wins, but neither should they.

None of it matters. Every team is 0-0 come playoff time. Difference is you won't have another game the following Sunday if you lose this one.

Panthers were 3-0 with number 1 defense when Dallas beat them. By your logic Dallas beat a really good team because who cares what they did the rest of the season

When you get right down to it, it makes no difference how anyone was playing early in the season it’s how they’re playing entering the playoffs. It comes down to peaking at the right time. The Cowboys have had trouble stringing good performances together the second half of the season. They were able to string wins together but some were ugly.

Yup and if you are a sound football team those are the types of teams you beat.

No idea why the Rams suck so bad versus SF or a few other teams but that's the only outlier.
Bengals win in OT came with the benefit of a +2 in turnovers.

SF is a sound football team but they are not nearly as talented as Dallas.
And a win regardless of what some cornballs are projecting would be a farily large upset.

Rams defense is made for stopping the pass. They cannot stop the run.

It's like Tampa Bay not being able to beat the Saints.

There are 2 teams in playoffs that are not great teams, but are scrappers.
They play hard the whole game and never give up, and that has led to them winning enough to get in playoffs.
The 2 teams are the raiders, and SF.

I think they may surprise the other teams they play and win in wc round.
They are capable of beating superior teams, just by being scrappers, and having to fight hard all season to get in playoffs.

They also are playing better in dec and now jan.

Playing them isnt just a game it is a fight lol, so Dallas may be in for a surprise if they dont play hard and be ready to fight for a win.

Good teams find ways to win, it's not a popularity contest on how beautiful you look playing. Not a single team played great down the stretch without flaws.

Dallas lost 1 game since Thanksgiving. For the crap they get for winning against those teams, you have teams that lost to them.

Jags beat Bills
Detroit beat Arizona
Washington beat Tampa bay
Saints also beat Tampa bay

The list goes on. Only 1 lost this season came against an opponent that didn't make the playoffs and Dallas hadn't beaten Denver since the 90s.

Playoffs is not the regular season

I think they're like 6-0 or something vs the rams.
yup 2-4 in their division 10-7 overall, i mean they got beat by Seattle twice, seatles not better than the eagles and are about on par with WFT this season..? not exactly the team everyone keeps saying to worry about they needed OT to win the last one or they were out and 1-5 in their division. Their division maybe tough but the DC are one of those type teams and you nearly went 1-5 against them.

This is exactly right. We went 5-1 down the stretch. And GMFB was saying this EXACT same thing...who did we play...
When before they were giving us props. As I said in another post, it seems they were reading posts right toff of this forum.

GMFB was always up and down on who they follow. But ever since Nate Burleson left, it has been worse.
Burleson made a wise choice leaving
