OTOH, no organization eats the cheese like the Jerry Jones lead Dallas Cowboys. I'm not sure that the national media taking shots at the Cowboys helps but them anointing the Cowboys as surefire winners would have been a negative. This is a positive simply by not being a big negative.

Yeah it's not so much giving the Cowboys extra motivation as it's just allowing them to focus and fly under the radar more than if they were overwhelming favorites and every media outlet was anointing them ..
