What Should We Expect Out Of Zeke?

I saw an interesting and concern stat today and wanted to pass it along.

The last 8 games:

Zeke - 42.4 rushing yards per game
Samuel - 42.9 rushing yards per game

Zeke - 26 yards longest rush
Samuel - 49 yards longest rush

Zeke- 3 Rushing TDs
Samuel - 7 Rushing TDS.


Deebo Samuel has not had a single game with more than 8 rushing attempts this season and Zeke has not had a single game with less than 9, but is still out performing Zeke in the 2nd half of the season.

This is a problem and even more reason why Pollard needs to be seeing more action if we want to advance.

Zeke is not the player you need to be comparing to Samuel.. It's Pollard.. Samuel gets a lot of yards on the edges in wide tosses, jet sweeps and end arounds. That's what Pollard should be doing. Neither of them is asked to do what we ask Zeke to do .. nor should they.. it's not what they do.. Neither of them could accomplish what they accomplish if asked to run it up the gut 10-12 times a game.. but in order to have a complete running game you HAVE to run it up the gut SOME.. Maybe not as much as we do.. but we can't act as if we're scared of the d-line either.. Mix it up and we will be fine..

To answer the original question.. I have Zeke going for 75 yards and a TD.. and keeping Dak's head from being taken off at least a half dozen times..
