Imagine defending Dak, or anyone in this team after going 1 & done. You goofys are crazy. lol

"Defending Dak" or telling the truth that the Cowboys ended up in the same spot with Romo, as we are now with Dak. Seems like the ones who are defending anyone, are the Romo fans who acts like Romo didn't have some very good teams to work with. Which were good enough to get past the divisional round.

I already admitted in the game thread that Dak is part of the reason for why the Cowboys lost to the Niners.

So are you saying that Romo has been holding onto some sort of resentfulness and bitterness over losing his starting job and that he has been doing so for 7 years and is it just some Romo fans/Dak critics projecting your feelings onto him?

I’m responding to the poster saying that Romo “sounds like he is still butt hurt”

If you have ever played the game, yeah you still hold onto those feelings especially if you are a competitor. I have no idea if he feels that way. I know that I would feel that way for sure if I were him.

The nerve of TRomo to say that.....his complete play in the playoffs left us with bafflement and being livid. Dak is following suit....gawdy numbers, but when you least expect him......the roof caves in.
and you are a pathetic joke

They were. So what?

Romo's teams, now combined with Dak's teams, are all the reason for why the Cowboys fanbase has experienced frustration, while being the laughing stock of the NFL for 25+ years and counting. They all have let us down.

Currently in blow up the team mode. Jerry needs to go full crazy and hire Romo as something important.

Romo fans? Bro, we’re 6 years done with that dude. He’s done and never won anything. Fans however will always make comparisons with past players. Especially QBs. It’s the nature of sports.

The fact that you always have to go into into full defend mode for Dak anytime he gets compared to anyone else, shows more about yourself than other people.

I agree. Different team, different year, same pain. One constant.

Can you show me in this thread where I defended Dak?

That's not what he actually said, but it makes for a better thread title.

I may or may not have heard it wrong, but the insiuation I deliberately misquoted him is not warranted. What did he say then?

Would have loved to see Tony get a shot with a defense of this quality

Romo got 2007's defense and the result was the same as today. You simply can't win a playoff game with 14 penalties and low IQ moves on the field. That was embarrassing. We were the #3 seed and played like a team that fought to make the playoffs and didn't belong.

Slingin' or not.....both have underachievement under center.

Could be the worst post of the day.

Romo took 4-12 teams and made them 8-8 and he took good teams to playoffs and a very good team to a Divisional game of which he was robbed.

He was saddled with inept ownership. poor offensive lines, bad defenses for a lot of his career. If you don’t believe me ask Jerry what his biggest regret as owner is.

He set almost every QB record the team has, he still is the 11th highest rated QB in history and has the best INT % of any Dallas QB. He still holds the all time record for consecutive road games throwing a TD and he should’ve been the MVP in 2016.

Oh…and he was an undrafted free agent.

Then when he wasn’t under center he went on to sign the largest sports announcing contract in television history.

Sitting on your couch and saying Tony Romo underachieved is laughable at worst and embarrassing at best.
