How can the average fan actually show their displeasure?

I get not buying seats and suites and that’s a huge alarm for Jerry if one of his suite holders cancels. But for the average fan, is there anything that can be done or communicated to these owners?

Take out a billboard. :lmao:
Wasn't that the going thing some time back?

About the only thing one can do is not buy merchandise. But also do not watch games, and that means any NFL game.
Do not buy any products endorsed by the NFL either.

I hate to burst your bubble but Jerry has FAR TOO MUCH MONEY to care about the average fan, particularly at his age. I guarantee you could go back and find post after post like this at the end of each of the last 20 disappointing seasons.

Maybe the City of Dallas can file a lawsuit against JJ, force him to sell the team.

I'm only slightly joking.

the problem is that the NFL changed to market itself not to die hard fans, as die hard fans follow their teams and NFL no matter what, but to market itself to casual fans and pull them in. those casual fans don't care and they will continue to buy tickets, merchandise and keep the money rolling in. die hard fans like us have no control.

Jerry will do what he has done for past 26 years. figure out a few moves he can make to show he is making changes. give some sound bites that the results were not acceptable and he is disappointed just like the other cowboys fans. sell hope. make us hopefull and rinse, repeat......

I really don’t think you can. Even bad NFL teams make money, and that’s all that really matters to the people that own them.

The best thing to do is try to watch with a zen-like peace of mind each season knowing that it’s ultimately a kids’ game. I got the same actual problems and blessings today as I did before the game yesterday.

As cheesy as that sounds.

If it bothers you that much...I suggest you follow another team.

At some point you have to stop beating your head against the wall. Life is too short not to seek out happiness.

My Default is Tampa since i live in the bay....but Cinnci looks like fun too!

If the sorry *** Detroit Lions can fill stadiums then the Cowboys won't have any problems in that regard.
I don't spend any money on any NFL mechanise.

The problem is that for every Cowboys fan that stops watching when the Cowboys lose, fans of other teams start watching because they enjoy the losses.

If the Cowboys have a bad season, fans of other teams are more than willing to buy their tickets to watch their team beat the Cowboys.

As for jerseys, a lot of fans buy those because they are fans of the players more than the team so they are going to keep buying and wearing them regardless of how the team is doing.

The only thing that impacts teams is revenue loss or stagnation in a growing market and with so many love-or-hate-the-Cowboys sports fans, there will always be enough people watching and buying what the Cowboys offer.

Write a letter to Mr Jones telling him what you think he is doing wrong

Absolutely nothing that will make a difference. But I will encourage you to eat well, work out, vacation when possible, get adequate sleep, and pray to be around until after JJ dies. Nothing will change until he’s gone, but there’s still no guarantee the remaining members of the Jones clan won’t decide to emulate their father.

I’m not trying to be mean or cold, but it is what it is.
