$16 million in savings, not 20.

And given their cap problems given they are over the cap by $13 million, Cooper definitely looks like a candidate to get canned.

But then they have to come up with the cap space to bring Gallup back. You can't go into 2022 with just Lamb and a bunch of JAGs at WR.

I agree, you shouldn't go into 2020 with just Lamb and JAG WRs...but that may be what they have to do...DAKs contract is gonna eat a lot of cap space next year...plus they are already 13 million over the cap.... DLAW, Coop, Wilson, Shultz all may be to expensive to keep.....plus you have a lot of other FA's gonna hit the market.... The Cowboys are in CAP trouble and DAKs contract is a huge problem going forward

Don’t be surprised if they draft a WR in round 1/2. And your starting lineup is:

Lamb
Rookie
Turner slot

Then maybe they get Gallup back cheap( injury) and he comes in later in the season.

He's got trade value.

What exactly it is I don't know. But there's some.

Washington tried to sign him for more than we did.

Dak doesn’t throw to number 1 receivers consistently. Wasted money when you don’t throw it to your playmaker.
False. There's no one to blame for Cooper getting out produced but himself. He led in receptions and yards every season but this one.

It would create 16M in space per overthgcap. That can help you bring back 2-3 guys that you want moving forward. I would move on from Amari

That would get you three million once you use the rest to just get back to the cap.

Not saying don't do it. You have to. Just saying it, on its own, won't get you much.

I was hoping he would say Collins is gone.

Collins is so re-structured that you have to wait another 2 years. Better moving him to LG and Steele to RT if we can't find a starter at LG through the draft. At least both have an offseason at their positions and helps with continuity. Then you work on center.

That's half the penalties gone just there.

Get a good running back if we even have to use our 2nd rounder to go with Zeke in his last 1 to 2 years with us. Kennetth Walker III supposed to be there. He's got talent and can carry the running game should Zeke get hurt. Probably the best back in the draft too.

Now we should have solved the running game too which is what hides the holes this team hides on both sides of the ball.
