Enough McCarthy Hate

Second year, after a pandemic, the Cowboys have a 12-5 record, won the division, in the playoffs.

The Clown took until his 5th year to make the playoffs, also took 5 years to win the division.
The Clown went 5-3 after he stabbed Wade in the back, then proceeded to go 3 straight 8-8 seasons.

After watching the game and seeing the Kurt Warner video someone posted earlier, the playoff loss is on Dak and the Wonder Boy Moore as much as anybody.

it is his entire job to have the team ready and make sure every one is put in the best positon to succeed thru his coordinator and coachs

also to in still discipline and make sure player do not commit 15 penaltys a game he had all year to fix this also btw

he did none of that

he should get more hate

Just give him more time.

It’s not like any coach could beat the teams they’re more talented than and lose to all the good teams. That’s special.

Right before a playoff game McCarthy has to teach these guys not to line up in the neutral zone, don’t jump off sides, no hands to the face, don’t rough the QB, don’t tackle offensive linemen and don’t hold? These are all pretty basic rules! I’m sure the players are familiar.

He should definitely get a legitimate window. 2 years just isn’t enough time. Specially considering where they were a year ago. And most importantly 2 years ago.

I’m really disappointed we lost and I’m not overly high on McCarthy but I’m in the same boat as you. Next year will tell me everything we need to know. Can we have back to back division winning years, get in the playoffs and this time win games? if we go 9-8 and miss the post season again I’ll be ready to move on.

the team improved from McCarthy year 1 to McCarthy year 2 and while no it’s not good enough let’s see what he does in year 3. All this window talk and all that is just bs. The nfl is unpredictable year to year and what happened for the last 25 years has zero bearing over what happens in the next year.

It's on the whole organization and MM is the headcoach, so he gets a lot of blame as well.

Doesn't matter what Garrett did. He's gone. That doesn't mean I have to like Mike. Mike sucks and does nothing for this team. He wasn't trying to help the defense last year when he let his buddy run it into the ground. He's not helping more be a better OC this year with a chance to win a playoff game. He's useless. Mike barely affects what happens Sundays.

He admitted to lying to get the job. This pencil pusher would have fired him immediately for that and hired Ranching. The team would have been well coached and well fed.

…..the criticism starts from the talking heads and tv experts, spreads to social media and than it grows like a tidal wave until the media either sees him fired or they get bored and go after the next target

At least Jerry doesn’t knee jerk fire people….always best to wait until the emotion dies down and than make measured decisions…..no matter what they are

They know the rules. They do not fear any reprimand for breaking the rules. MM is useless. All year they had penalty problems. All he did was praise L Collins for hitting a guy late. He is a Marshmallow, literally and figuratively.

Why is it that no player or assistant that played or coached for McCarthy has come to his defense? That is bit concerning. I was a big McCarthy supporter until Thanksgiving, then I wanted to take a wait and see approach. After the Wildcard game, I see no recovery coming. Jerry hired anther puppet.

12-5 but didn't beat any team worth a pulse all year, blew a golden chance at the #1 or #2 seed, lost a home playoff game as a favorite.

He's a mediocre coach. And I have little doubt we'll be spending the next 3-4 years watching guys like you make the same excuses for him over and over.

Dallas needs to bring in a young, innovative coach where Jerry isn't looking over his shoulder. Yeah, I know, that's a pipe dream. But hey, I need something to believe in.
