Troy throws his thoughts and opinions around quite a bit so heres the question: would he make a great HC or even a better OC? … not the it wiuld happen.

He'd be a great QB coach I thinkTroy throws his thoughts and opinions around quite a bit so heres the question: would he make a great HC or even a better OC? … not the it wiuld happen.
I doubt it...he can do analysis as he is an analyst on TV. but being a head coach, and coordinator is a whole other game...there is a difference between those find problems and those who find solutions. different mind set. Aikman is a problem finder, he hasn't given any solutions.Troy throws his thoughts and opinions around quite a bit so heres the question: would he make a great HC or even a better OC? … not the it wiuld happen.

———-Neither. I don’t think he would make a good player motivator. That would be Michael Irvin. Aikman would make an outstanding scout and personnel guy (potentially GM). Won’t be with this club though, unless Jerry dies or retires pretty soon.

He'd ne like Einstein teaching a MS math class...to ne a good coach, you have to be a great teacher......it's not for everyoneAikman would be a terrific GM.
HC I'm not so sure of.
It’s pretty amazing fans don’t understand this. Go look at Payton’s and McVay’s long list of coaching experience in lower positions prior to their first OC job. Warner or Aikman in a consultancy position might be ok, but I would question it here in Dallas because if the convoluted organizational dynamics created by Jerry. When was the last time an NFL team hired a HC or OC with zeroNFL or College coaching experience?
Someone earlier recommended Kurt Warner, it’s like “…what….?” There’s a world of difference between watching games so you can speak on them for network entertainment, and you getting a lockerroom of grown men with families to accept being subservients to your ego.
I believe we would succeed as a GM. He could focus on putting the right pieces together and he understands what it takes. As for coaching, I don’t think he’s interested in dealing with players, personalities, etc. I think he has a short fuse.Troy throws his thoughts and opinions around quite a bit so heres the question: would he make a great HC or even a better OC? … not the it wiuld happen.
