Blame the q b first. They call what their players can handle. Also, lamb drops more passes than cooper. Dak throws more bad passes than each receiver has drops.

It don't eat me up...I know what is coming. I think it does eat you up...but if that is your standard, have at it...everything will be fine in your mind.

I know what to expect the next few years while the "I'm a big Mutha...er" takes this team down with him because, well, he just needed some money to, you know, eat.
It does eat you up. So obvious. I'm loving it.

Jerry has been annoyed with Cooper ever since he got covid and missed games, at least one of which they lost. I think Cooper is a long shot to return, I think Smith will have ankle surgery and return next year. A lot of you are forgetting Jerry turns 80 this year and knows he doesnt have time for a major rebuild.

I’d trade Cooper in a hot sec if I could get a decent draft pick for him. But if you can add a valuable piece on the OL with his cap savings I.m fine releasing him as well.

**** and stop harassing me. If you want to play games, find someone else.
You replied to my post first, crybaby. Know what you're talking about. If you don't want me replying to your attacks, stop commenting on my posts.

La'el ranked just under Tyron by a few percentage points, plus they both had similar stats. The slight difference is their contract difference and age. La'el is 28 and going on 29 years of age, while Tyron is 31 and going on 32.

If you are talking about PFF, Collins was 8 points lower.

And Steele was almost 30 points. So nah, it’s not smart to cut Smith and make Steele the LT.

He is when Parsons isn't lined up there...that is true. BUT....by cutting him you can use that money to get Gregory back. Then you will be able to have a solid DE rotation with Parsons playing there on occasion as well.

With our cap...i just don't see how he survives.

I would rather keep Dlaw and let Gregory walk.

The dude smoked his brains out once the league stopped testing for weed and is now dumb as a rock. I cant trust Gregory not to do some stupid shiot with the game on the line.

gotta cut cooper. especially when your QB cant get him the ball, whats the point?

Jerry is already talking shiot about Coop not clearing out half the field. Old man cant figure out why his $20 mill recievier was like 39th in the league in recieving yards, LOL.

On March 20th, Coopers 2022 base salary of $20 million becomes fully guaranteed. Coop is as good as gone, no way he is still on the team on March 20th.

After looking at the cap charges for next year, our current cap situation, and their production....here is who i think will be cut (or traded) barring some renegotiation.

Amari Cooper- By cutting him we will save 16 million on the cap. No way he can play under this deal with our current cap situation. I think a trade is a strong possibility as his base of 20 mill can be renegotiated by the new team easily.

D Law- We will save 8 million by cutting or trading him. I think there is a chance we can trade him but we can't afford to pay this guy his 27 million dollar price tag this year for his lack of production.

Tyron Smith- We will save 5 million to cut him. This one is tough because his price tag is still low at 12 million. It will depend on how we feel he can be replaced and if we need that 5 million.

Greg Z- We will save 2.5 million...no brainer.

I will not be surprised if all 4 of these players are not on the team next year, what do you think?
I sincerely hope you are correct.

No matter what they do, the chance this team does anything of significance in the next few years is basically 0.0.
They would just have to fall into unbelievable luck for a different outcome.

Use those savings as well as savings from Jarwin, Zeurlein, and maybe Brown to make a serious run at upgrading the interior of your OL and maybe re-sign Kearse. Cooper and Gregory can be replaced in the draft.

And you don’t think you are overrating Cooper ? He is nowhere near that good. Over 30 players had more receiving yards than Cooper.

guessing at least 12-15 had better QB and OC play too.
We’ve seen plenty of examples of our offense with and without Amari, both right before he arrived and again while he was on covid lockdown…it’s very noticeable

Lawrence isn't going anywhere and I doubt neither will Tyron. He's got a team friendly deal.
Yeah especially Tyron, I think you try to draft hopefully his eventual replacement this year and hope he can start at least 8 games next year

Cooper is Jery's latest scapegoat (because the team's failures can't possibly be Jerry's fault) so I could definitely see him getting cut.

Jeff Cavanaugh likes to say "Sometimes you gotta let Captain Trade Down ride"

Cutting all 4 would be Stepehen Jones' dreams coming true..Let Captain Cheapskate ride!

Ask them to take a cut and add a year....if not, cut them. I usually would not agree with this, but we need money to bring in some players. Cut Coop and keep Gallup? Cut Lawrence and keep Gregory? Gonna be interesting....
Is Gallup even going to be able to play next season?
Seriously injured knee at the end of the season.

Here's the problem.

Lawrence is your best DE. You cut or trade him, what are your options? You will have an anemic pass rush/defensive end play in 2023.

Same with Smith. What's your option next year? Just assuming you can draft his replacement seems silly because of where you are picking.

The only one of the big names on your list - Cooper - seems like a realistic possibility largely because they have Lamb and could bring back Gallup and still have a really good WR corps.
It will all depend on our "realistic" goals next season. Personally, I think we need to rebuild most of the coaching staff then, get rid of select players or most players that are not earning their keep, IF we can do so without hurting ourselves. If we are rebuilding, it doesn't matter if we suck next season. I love Cooper but I would try to trade him. Cooper is a great talent but we currently don't have a qb that can get the most out of Coops' talent. Cee Dee has yet to prove that he is or can be a #1 receiver and Gallup certainly is NOT a #1 and probably wont be available next season till November or later.

I am just ready to let Tyron go. He salary may be a team friendly deal at 12 million but for 8 games or less is this really good value? 1.5 Million X 8 = 12 million. Is this still great value? At his best, he still gets beat and has crushing drive killing holding penalties.

I know we can't get rid of Zeke (my favorite player), but next season has got to be open competition for the #1 RB position. If Pollard wins, Zeke becomes our kick off returner and sub out Pollard when he needs a blow. Why is it that every fan including Zeke fans notice that Pollard deserved to be RB1 and the coaches cant see it? Do they watch film?

Dak got his 40 and because of this fact, we are unable to surround him with superior talent. Dak will need to make due next season in another "prove it" opportunity for him. He didn't prove that he deserved 40 million the previous season due to the injury but Jerry blinked. Instead of extending the 50 yard football field at his home, Dak needs a good QB coach and lots of film study on himself and his opponents for next season.

As for Tank, this is my last season rolling with him. I know we MUST improve our soft middle. I would hate to try to focus on DE also. Just too much change at once. I'd get Gregory reupped , get him some "focus" weed and see how he fares.

Joe Philbin needs to GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO
Bill Callihan needs to be rehired back from the Browns. This move may even revive Zeke's career.
Kellen Moore needs to GO GO GO GO GO GO GO
Doug Nussmeier needs to go. Dak looks like 2018-2019 Dak that could only throw come back routes and button hooks. Timing, anticipation, pocket awareness, reading defenses, and taking advantage of one on ones needs to be the focus of offseason training. Did anyone notice how nimble Dak looked on that last play of the season? Why did he look so clumsy on all other runs prior? Its quite obvious that Dak can be a weapon with his feet. It should also be noted that Dak's feet instead of his arm could have keep many many drives alive this past season.
Aden Durde D Line coach probably is not the answer. We need someone proven with fresh ideas.

33 players had more receiving yards than Cooper. In relation to his salary and what should be expected he has played like crap. You can’t justify this guy being 1of the highest paid players at his position. It’s insane.
So he’s supposed to draw up the offense AND throw it to himself.. okay
